The Movie:

The fourth in the series of solo compilations named after a certain social networking website, MySpace 4 is a strong collection of roughly two hours worth of female masturbation footage. The fine folks at Sinsation have taken a bevy of beautiful white girls, Hispanic girls, Asian girls and black girls and gone for a sort of interracial theme here, so we get quite a variety in terms of what to look at. As far as what these girls do, well, it's pretty formulaic but really there's only so many ways you can shoot something like this.

Almost every scene starts with the star on the couch and after a little bit of strutting the finger play serves as a warm up. More often than not (as in almost every scene) our featured performer will take out a vibrator or a dildo and use it on herself and work it until she's finished. It's a pretty simple formula, but it's one that's tried and true and one that certainly remains effective.

Obviously personal preference comes into play here but each of the girls is very attractive. Highlights include Aurora Snow, still sporting blonde hair here as well as the exotic looking Sayurii, both of whom show a little bit more enthusiasm for their work than their co--stars though in defense of the other ladies, everyone here seems to be having fun.

Each of the seventeen scenes is shot quite attractively with some obvious care and attention having gone into the lighting to ensure that we see everything that we want to see. The visuals and camera work are slick and the sets have a very 'high society/rich bitch' vibe to them, meaning that these ladies are getting down and dirty in classy rooms and atop some posh looking furniture rather than in the bathroom or a back alley somewhere. This material is obviously meant to cater to the male fantasy rather than portray anything remotely realistic but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that and if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The DVD

Video:

The interlaced non-anamorphic 1.85.1 widescreen shot on video production looks about average for a modern day gonzo fest, so it's not a bad looking movie. Some shots are a little bit dark but these are few and far between thankfully. Skin tones look good and there aren't any problems with edge enhancement. Some shimmering shows up as do some minor mpeg compression artifacts but overall this is a perfectly acceptable, if unremarkable, transfer from Sinsation.

Sound:

The English language Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track isn't bad but for almost every scene the music is too high in the mix and the lady too low. The moans and groans and sounds of sex are sometimes half the appeal of porno, and when they get buried under the instrumental score as they do here, it takes away from the effect. That said, you can stil here the girls here, just not as well as you'd probably like to. Other than that there are no problems here and it was obviously the intent of the director to put the music up in the mix so really, how much this will effect your enjoyment of the feature really boils down to personal preference.

Extras:

Aside from a few trailers and a still gallery of explicit shots of the starlets in hot solo action, the best supplement on this disc is a behind the scenes featurette. It's short at three and a half minutes and it is really little more than some random behind the scenes footage but there are some rather amusing bloopers in here that make it worth a look.

Also worth checking out is the bonus scene from Strap On Club 2 (25:01) where two blondes and a brunette with short hair get into some hot and heavy dildo play with one another, culminating with the brunette taking a vibrator up her ass. Animated menus and scene selection are also included.

Final Thoughts:

If solo scenes are your bag, you'll enjoy MySpace 4 as it really does compile a nice selection of girls to enjoy. The technical merits don't stand out and the supplements are pretty average but the content of the feature itself is strong and if watching girls diddle is your kink, consider this one recommended.
