Audio/Video Quality: My Sister's Hot Friend 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director Brett Brando for distribution by Naughty America. The lighting was decent this time, limiting the amount of grain and other visual noise the movie provided compared to an earlier release by the company. There were very few compression artifacts and the visual aspects of the movie were pretty good here. The composition of the angles and shots favored the ladies reasonably well and that elevated the quality of the visual presentation more than a little bit from what I've seen in the past. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital according to me receiver but I heard no separation between the channels and if the vocals were recorded in anything but monaural, I'd be surprised. There was no music on hand to interfere with the vocals though so there was that benefit.

Body of Review: Brett Brando has been the lead director at Naughty America since they started up from what I understand, providing a basic formula that has, on occasion, provided a framework for talented ladies to showcase their skills and looks off very nicely. Most of the time though, his lack of experience seems to limit the performers that could use a directorial hand in boosting their careers though he has admittedly been getting better with time. I wish I had run into him at the 2006 AEE Show where many of the very nicest people were working the company's both (the ladies they hired were terrific for the most part) but perhaps next year I'll be able carry on such a conversation with him to help improve his product. That said, his latest work is My Sister's Hot Friend 4, a series of unrelated vignettes where the scenarios differed only by degree in that an unseen sister drama was overcome by couples having routine sex. There were no condoms and the generic nature of the sets weren't as much a problem for me as the way the performers often seemed held back (I've seen some of them tear up the small screen in the past) but here's a quick look for those of you still interested:

Scene One: Missy Monroe, a busty bleach blond in jeans and brown tank top, played a tough chick who seduced Alex Sanders; a guy appearing to have a real cast on his arm. He had problems with his sister and Missy took charge of the scene, assisting him in learning how to take it easy as she sucked his cock so readily in her mouth. He stopped whining once she gave him the sloppy oral, moving to his going down on her for a short bit and the inevitable vaginal poking. I've long appreciated her fleshy form as being built for comfort and the way in which she impaled her pussy on his shaft so heatedly gave me pause as she truly appeared to be into it. The editing kind of sucked in transitioning to her doing PTM but aside from his fingers probing her ass, it ended with her actively riding cock and jerking him off. It wasn't her best work but I had fun with it as would any fan.

Scene Two: Gigi, a very attractive blonde with beautiful eyes, was up next with a third tier bald guy that I've seen a number of times in the recent past (lots of tattoos, acts kind of gay) on a small bed. Unlike Missy, her appeal is built less on sexual skill and more on pure looks, though she has some decent talents worth keeping an eye on. She playfully sucked him off as though she had been doing so for a number of years, possessing less energy than Missy but I wouldn't have turned her down either. He ate her out but her vocals were so faked as to make me roll my eyes in unison with her weak performance though her looks were still fascinating to me. The mouth pop was unimpressive but given some training, she could become something exceptional.

Scene Three: Aurora Snow, the hotty on the front DVD cover (and reason I picked the movie up in the first place), was up next as she sat on the stairs in her pink top and blue jean skirt as she set out to seduce Jay Ashley. He wanted to go work out and she wanted to fuck his brains out and obviously she won out but the sheer implausibility of his reluctance to jump her bones amounted to even worse than the pizza boy stereotype; with Aurora spending a lot of time going over it vocally herself. Personally, I like Aurora and thought she looked great here. Her oral skills were excellent and his weren't too bad either. Her active ride on his cock was as sweet as ever; displaying the kind of energy and passion that no amount of poor direction could kill. The camera work seemed a bit excessive in trying to provide something different but I can't fault Aurora as she did fine.

Scene Four: Cassie Young, a blonde with nice curves that reminded me of a stripper, was up next with Billy Glide, in a scenario where she was the one to break the news of his sister's elopement to a loser. Billy wanted to beat the guy senseless and Cassie's mission was to "make it better" by relieving him of stress. The scene was a few minutes longer than the others and had the okay oral and vaginal sex; her showing a minimal of chemistry with him with the scene cut short like the others in a most annoying manner right after the facial.

Summary: My Sister's Hot Friend 4 had a strong female cast that many of you will appreciate as much as I did though how well they were utilized is a topic of discussion many of us would not be happy with. I wanted to like the movie more than I could actually do given the limitations of the sex (primarily the lack of chemistry, passion, or heat), the nonexistent extras, and the need of polishing up the rougher edges the show had. Still, there was enough here to warrant a fan of the cast to claim it was worth a one time Rent It and with minor work, I sense that director Brett Brando could be even better at presenting the kind of porn that fans clamor to see. In summary, My Sister's Hot Friend 4 suffered from various problems but still shed a glimmer or spark worthy of checking out for fans of the cast.
