The Movie:

The ‘plot’ of Chatsworth Bob’s 1 Night In Jail finds Aurora Snow playing a Paris Hilton type rich bitch named Penis Holdin who gets pulled over by a cop. She and her friend, Dickhole Itche (Jessica Valentino), are in trouble and they’re going to do some time. This, of course, leads to a whole lot of fucking and sucking and a plethora of bad comedy. Points to director Chatsworth Bob for trying, but the comedy here isn’t funny, it’s groan inducing. Regardless, there are give sex scenes in the film to evaluate and let’s face it, 99.9% of the time plot comes second to sex anyway.

Scene 1 – Faye Runaway And Mark Ashley: Mark takes Faye out of her cuffs and then they both strip down to get to know one another a little better. She sucks his dick while he and his fake moustache (the funniest part of the movie) look on with approval. Mark eats her out and then proceeds to stick his nightstick up her snatch (that’s literal, not a clever allegory – he really does fuck her with a nightstick!) before fucking her missionary style. His moustache falls off and he fucks her doggy style, then she rides him cowgirl style. She sucks him then rides him reverse cowgirl, and then he pulls out and shoots his load onto her face. Faye is a pretty, petite blonde with some cute tattoos and she looks good here. The movie is off to a good start as these two do have a bit of chemistry together and manage to generate some heat.

Video:

1 Night In Jail is presented in 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen though the interlaced transfer suffers from some heavy saw tooth artifacts any time someone moves unless you turn off your progressive scan option. As far as the transfer quality goes, there are some obvious compression artifacts that prove distracting and there’s some very noticeable shimmering present throughout the presentation. Colors look decent and black levels are fine but the authoring problems present detract from the video quality too much for this to score too highly.

Sound:

The English 2.0 Stereo track is fine though the bass on the soundtrack is a little stronger than it needed to be. That’s a minor complaint, however, as for the most part things sound fine. Dialogue is clear and easy to understand and levels are properly balanced.

Extras:

First up, in the land of extra features, is a behind the scenes segment (17:06). There aren’t interviews here nor is there any narration to give the footage context. Rather, this is simply a bunch of behind the scenes clips strung together, sometimes with music and sometimes without. Some of it features performers in action, but much of it is non-sex scene material. None of it is all that interesting and it feels like it was tossed onto the disc as an after thought.

Adam & Eve has also included a bonus sex scene (11:00) featuring Lauren Phoenix and Randy Spears from At Your Service. The scene isn’t bad as it allows Lauren to show off some cocksucking skills nicely before taking it cowgirl, then reverse cowgirl, and then doggy style, but the video quality is poor and washed out.

Rounding out the extras are a still gallery, some phone sex ads, a web link, and trailers a half dozen unrelated porno movies available on DVD from Adam & Eve. Animated menus and scene selection are also included.

Final Thoughts:

Despite the presence of the inimitable Aurora Snow, everything about 1 Night In Jail is average and it does nothing to make itself stand out from the thousands of other adult titles that hit the shelves each week. It’s not that the movie is terrible, it’s just that it’s generic. Rent it if you’re an Aurora Snow fan as she’s in two scenes, otherwise, skip it as there’s nothing here you haven’t seen before.
