Audio/Video Quality: Sexually Explicit 5 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films. Skow and Mike Towers handled the camera work, the editing by Tony Peaches looking good, some attempt to include artistic angles and framing noticed. Each of the four vignettes looked different but the visuals were impressive nonetheless, the framing and editing of the sexual trysts enhanced the look of the ladies nicely. There was no continuous company watermark on the screen for those who care and the accurate flesh tones looked good. The aural components of the movie varied a bit more this time with the music appropriate to each vignette but credited to “Bina”. The rare vocals were easily heard and ambient sounds filled out this aspect of the production to make it sound decent.

Body of Review: B. Skow and his distribution deal with Girlfriends Films have seen the man trying all sorts of new things he wasn’t allowed to do when under contract, a few of them quite disturbing. His latest release called Sexually Explicit 5, the movie a set of four gonzo vignettes centering on sexual fantasies of a female cast including August Ames, Alli Rae, Ariana Marie, and Isabella De Santos. The back cover said it like this: “Sexually Explicit 5 takes director B. Skow's high end award winning tease and sex to a new place. Skow takes four of the most popular girls in porn and showcases them with two different styles of tease, revealing and entertaining interviews, and bright and clear hardcore fucking. Watch August Ames, Isabella De Santos, Ariana Marie, and Alli Rae in a movie that was created and shot for true fans of these incredibly talented stars.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Alli Rae, a fetching little blond who currently sports a few dozen or so scenes listed on the IAFD, was up first to showcase the new format, her wide eyed look of innocence given a lengthy tease and solo masturbation sequence before an interview with the director allowed the viewer to get to know her better. The audio was on the low side, her bubbly personality shining as she filled the world in on various details of her fledgling career. The interview led to the second tease where she wore a tiny, sparkling blue bikini, her measured moves less polished than I was expecting though the bare room (with gray patterned wallpaper like my grandmother would have liked) didn’t offer many opportunities for her to use the background. The tease then transitioned to August laying on a metallic silver couch naked, Anthony Rosano coming over to her for an enthusiastic blowjob and titty fuck as she pumped the chump hard with her hand. The much longer tease sequences and interviews fleshed out the production from earlier volumes to provide each lady with more ability to express herself, the male mopes becoming less of a factor as a result. I thought using another bonus scene from volume two was a little weak, each disc having the same extra, but at least it was different from the last two volumes of the series that shared the same scene. Otherwise, August Ames stood out for me here by a wide margin, none of the others coming close to the advertised “most popular girls in porn” yet certainly having some appeal from Alli’s pretty blue eyes to Ariana’s sultry looks, or Isabella’s overall appeal. In short, Sexually Explicit 5 set out to offer something surpassing Skow’s usual rules of sexual engagements, the upgrades appreciated almost to an even higher rating so give this one a look to see how Skow’s re-tinkering with his previous formula yielded some favorable results.
