THE SEX

Runaround Sue wants to be as cool and hip as Pulp Fiction (the movie isn't told in a linear fashion, each segment is labeled and the soundtrack sounds very much like music from Pulp Fiction), but ultimately this is just five standard sex scenes with a very thin plot wrapped around it.

The movie does, however, start out quite strongly – with a very hot coupling between redhead Audrey Hollander and Steve Hatcher which includes lots of anal and a nice facial pop-shot at the conclusion. Sadly though, this is the best action we'll see in Runaround Sue as the rest of the sex is pretty average.

There's not much of a story here, but what little of one there is revolves around the fact that Barrett Blade is a rock star who is on his way home, with Brittney Skye playing his less-than-faithful wife who has been sleeping around with Kyle Stone. Brittney also has a thing for women, and in the movie's second sex scene we see her getting it on in a tub with Nadia Styles.

In a scene that doesn't really fit anywhere into the storyline, dark-skinned Misty Mason makes out with Otto Bauer in front of his in-home bar. He gives her missionary in a chair, stands her up for some doggy action, then gets her to lie on her back on the floor for some "pile driver" penetration.

Back at Barrett's place, he arrives home to find Brittney sleeping...although he has no idea that Kyle has just spent the night and is currently in the bathroom. Brittney wakes up and figures out what is going on and quickly whisks Kyle away into the room of Layla Jade, who is a friend of Brittney's and staying at the house. Brittney tells Kyle that he has to pretend that he is actually Layla's boyfriend...so Kyle takes full advantage of the situation and makes out with Layla in her bedroom.

Meanwhile husband and wife (i.e. Barrett and Brittney) are reunited in the bedroom, and the movie wraps-up with a one-on-one pairing between the two performers. Although Brittney gets Barrett's cock in her in the spoon, doggy and missionary position, she also uses a purple toy on her clit throughout. The scene and the movie ends with Barrett jerking off into Brittney's face.

VIDEO/AUDIO

The video here is above-average, although not as crisp and as clear as I have seen in some other adult releases. The audio is presented in 2.0 Dolby and isn't the best, although it's not bad. You'll probably have to crank up your volume a few extra notches to hear what is going on, but at least there's not a disproportionate difference between the sound of the dialogue and the sound of the sexual action (which is a problem on more and more adult releases these days).

THE EXTRAS

The bonus features are just about average for an adult feature. Viewers will get a nice, 29-minute Behind The Scenes segment, that actually proves to be more entertaining than the film itself. There's also a Photo Gallery and 6 Trailers for other Sex Z Pictures releases.

BRIAN'S BOTTOM LINE

Even if you're a big fan of Brittney Skye, this one still isn't worth more than a rental. The best scene, as mentioned above, is Audrey Hollander's anal one-on-one with Steve Hatcher – and while that's good, it's not enough to fork over the asking price for this movie. Rent it, instead...and only if other titles with Brittney and/or Audrey are already checked-out.
