Audio/Video Quality: Spring Chickens 20 was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Gregg Alan for Diabolic Digital. The lighting was almost always decent; optimal on the bodies as it limited the grain, video noise, and shadows other productions seem unable to get rid of far too often; but the visuals were not perfect either. The composition of the shots weren't always completely flattering to the ladies but at least there was rarely any doubt about what was going on and where it was going; given the quality of the cast, this made it more enjoyable too. The fleshtones were generally accurate and the bitrate hovered in the mid 4 Mbps area so it looked very appealing in most ways to my jaded porn hound eyes. There were no compression artifacts and the visuals were generally handled pretty well here too for those that care about the nitty gritty details. The audio was presented in a 1.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate. The music was generic but the vocals; while plain as could be, could be heard in almost all cases; only slightly hollow at times when the ladies were making it clear their limits were being pushed. There was no separation here given that it was a monaural track and the dynamic range was limited too but I had no issues with the audio this time.

Body of Review: Gregg Alan is reportedly one of the big bosses over at Diabolic Digital so his recent attempts to direct their movies has met with some curious remarks from my fellow reviewers online. Whether the move is to save money or restore the brand name that he fought so hard to develop, the end result is that a lot of the series at the company haven't looked better in years. The latest title of his to make it my way is Spring Chickens 20, the company's ode to newcomers where relatively fresh gals from all over the place have scenes with seasoned male performers. The results of any newcomer scene are always mixed in my book since most of them have yet to reach their full potential but such shows also give viewers a chance to see the rare starlet in the making if handled properly too. If this sounds appealing to you, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Aubrey Addams, a very cute blond with pretty eyes and an all natural body, was up first as she teased the mighty Evan Stone in the living room with her fresh body. The cast lf newcomers were not all brand new but most appeared to be less jaded than many of the hardly legal titles so many companies offer up, resulting in a rating of Recommended. In short, Spring Chickens 20 had several scenes that were worth the price of admission alone and the total amount of strokability, replay value, and fuck for the buck will depend mostly on how much you appreciate the newcomer ethic but this was definitely a DVD you will appreciate.
