Extra's: The best extra was the 16 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It provided the cast and crew with a forum to introduce themselves and discuss various topics, including their scenes in the movie. The cameraman was a bit too intrusive but it wasn't a bad extra at all. There was also a pop shot recap from the scenes and a cardboard protective sleeve on the DVD case.

Audio/Video Quality: Ass Fuck 1 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Tommy Joe for release by American Hardcore. The lighting was solid and this helped make the picture look decent with little grain or video noise. The composition of the shots wasn't always the most favorable to the gals but Tommy is a new director so I'll give him a little extra latitude on his directorial debut. The fleshtones were accurate and I saw no compression artifacts, making this a surprisingly solid offering from a rookie director. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio track wasn't anything exceptional but I could hear the vocals, the moaning and groaning, and the minor background noises well enough to appreciate. There was no separation that I could hear and the dynamic range was minimal but for this type of porno, it wasn't bad either.

Body of Review: Reviewing porn allows me a chance to check out new companies on someone else's dollar; a fact that helps me take chances I otherwise wouldn't take. One of the newest companies in porn is a small company by the name of American Hardcore; started up by porn industry veterans TJ Di Reda (I believe the director; Tommy Joe Di Reda) and Vic Thomas of Vertigo Video. I didn't have much exposure to their previous work but if their debut title, Ass Fuck 1 is any indication of what they'll be offering, I'll hopefully be watching a lot more of their releases. The scenes were unrelated anal offerings with a number of talented gals providing some very heated action as the cameras rolled. With some solid technical values by director Tommy Joe, here's a look at the scenes, noting that no condoms were used at all here:

Scene One: Vanessa Lane, the lean brunette on the front DVD cover, was up first as she teased the camera from the balcony of the home overlooking a scenic valley. Granted, all the scenery I wanted to see involved her body but it wasn't a bad backdrop to show her against. She's currently known as an up and comer for her passionate scenes, attractive face, and willing attitude that sets her apart from many of her peers in the business. After the tease though, she walked over to a bed inside with Brett Rockman kicking back on it, quickly disrobing him to suck him off "Vanessa-style". A passionate oralist and expert in her field, Vanessa deep throated him, slobbed and spit on his shaft, and worked him over in such a manner that I almost thought she was trying to get him off prior to the anal action advertised on the front DVD cover. Her enthusiasm alone elevated the scene and he even gave her some licking loving in the 69 position. They commenced to screwing vaginally with the two covered in a sheen of sweat in no time, Brett licking her feet for good measure. She did PTM (pussy to mouth) and ATM (ass to mouth) with a very energetic ride in both holes, using several positions to get him off with. It ended with her using her shoes to fishhook her mouth open for the receipt of the load. Whew!

Scene Two: Holly Wellin, a skinny blonde with an all natural body and some nice DSLs (dick sucking lips), followed the formula by teasing on the balcony and stripping before hooking up with Anthony Hardwood on the bed indoors. She looked really young to me so fans of the barely legal crowd will be especially pleased but she also seemed to be enthusiastic about giving head. While not quite in Vanessa's league, she was more willing to use her hand to add friction when needed and also deep throated his shaft as though it were no problem. This was definitely a sloppier blowjob for those of you keeping track and she went straight to anal with ATM from there, even using her shoe to assist her in this regard. The sex was more mechanical this time but she did seem to break free of her self imposed constraints as the scene wore on, showing she has some solid potential to be exploited (like everything else in porn) in future outings. It ended when she took a load into her mouth and regurgitated it onto her platform shoe, possibly swallowing a tiny bit in the process.

Scene Three: Melissa Lauren, a very well known anal queen with jet black hair and some nice curves, was up next as she used the established formula to showcase her body for the camera. She was lucky enough to work with the massive Lee Stone on a couch and he was extremely aggressive this time compared to other recent scenes I've seen him in. It gave the appearance that he wanted her (a lot!) and that added some measure of heat to the scene. Rimming her and spanking her fleshy cheeks, he readied her nicely before she orally engaged him in return. Her strengths have never included oral but she did a decent job using her mouth and hand coordination to prepare him for the action. He then started drilling her holes with abandon to her throaty cries of pleasure, some of which came off as legitimate. He choked her a little and she did some minor taste testing before he went back to hammering away at her ass. Eventually, he jerked out a load to her face and she sucked him clean in this fairly energetic scene.

Scene Four: Csilla, another brunette but this one being very skinny and young looking, was up next on the balcony. She seemed in need of some training to get a better performance out of her but this also balanced out by seeming to offer a freshness the others didn't have (you can't have it both ways; either the gals look like they're new to porn or talented at what they do in a practiced manner). Alex Sanders didn't seem to mind working with her one bit as she walked over to him in her pink lingerie on the horrid green couch. He was the aggressor here and she didn't resist his charms (for lack of a better word) although he could've used a haircut to keep from looking so old. Her oral was weak compared to the others but again offered a sort of new to porn appeal that might work better for some of you out there, almost on the level of a new girlfriend if you catch my drift. She only let the tip into her mouth and her hand for the shaft but I wouldn't have turned her down. Alex then started tapping her from behind, settling on a rhythmic cadence as he boinked her ass in a few positions. She was lazy here and let him do all the work with some minor league ATM used to jerk him off onto her body and face.

Scene Five: Sharon Wild, another blonde with some skill at teasing the camera, was up last and a decidedly more enthusiastic gal to close the movie with than Csilla. That her ass was fleshier didn't hurt the scene one bit since it looked very pleasing to the eye. Her partner with swarthy Sascha and he went to fingering her on the couch as soon as she walked over, feeding her a taste of what he'd be dipping into momentarily. Her oral was done with the practiced ease of the professional sex worker and I found it refreshing to see a gal that enjoyed her work ethic to the max. Her oral wasn't the best of the show but it was top notch as she focused on getting him erect for the vaginal pounding she took afterwards. She actively pumped back on his penis as he thumbed her asshole. This prepared her for the anal that came soon enough, just after she stuck most of her hand inside her rectum to make for an easier passage. She had the largest, and longest, gape of the cast and was moderately energetic during the anal when the position allowed for more participation, offering up throaty moans of delight as he slammed his shaft deep inside her ass. She was the weakest when it came to taste testing but added the kink of using her bra to filter the load of semen dropped into her mouth.

Summary: Ass Fuck 1 was easily worth a rating of Recommended for me and nearly earned a higher rating except for a single weak scene. The gals, particularly Vanessa Lane and Sharon Wild, almost all gave great performances and the technical values were very high end for a new director. There was some decent fuck for the buck value here and I think American Hardcore has a winner on its hands. If the company can maintain this level of quality and get even better, they'll be making quite a name for themselves in no time at all. In short, Ass Fuck 1 was well worth a look for those wanting good strokable material without all the fluffy fast forward fodder many other titles waste your time with.
