Extra's: The best extra by far was the 38.5 minutes of Behind the Scenes, extra sex footage. Much of it would've fit right in with the movie, unlike so many companies that add in the crappy footage as an extra, making this a great deal for fans. There were also the usual filmographies, biography of Rocco Siffredi, photogallery, cast list and cumshot recap for your viewing pleasure.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as the previous volumes have been recorded in. As with most gonzo porn, the picture was far from perfect but I think Rocco took greater pains to improve the picture this time since the grain, video noise and soft focus problems of the past were minimized. There were still some issues with camera angles, lighting and the previously mentioned matters but they were infrequently bothersome in most of the movie. The audio was presented in the standardized stereo English but the separation and dynamic range were both limited in scope, making me think the stereo signal was only by virtue of the processing, not the originally recorded track.

Body of Review: There is only one man in porn that can be safely said as a world-renowned stud and his name is Rocco Siffredi. He has scored with hundreds of women (or more) over the years and we're not talking bottom of the barrel skanks either; we're talking people as high up the food chain as Jenna Jameson. With his recent announcement that he'd be retiring, a shockwave of sorts have hit the porn world that is only slightly less newsworthy than the recent HIV scare. His being the case, his fans will be eating up all of his last few titles before all that's left is a bunch of fond memories. Rocco's latest release is Rocco's Initiations 8, a series known for introducing some of the newest European talent in the porn world to American audiences. Like Rocco's Initiations 7, there was a lot of grade A trim so if you like Rocco's style of porn, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Gina and Denni, a couple of lean gals with perfect bodies and blonde hair, took on Rocco outdoors as they seduced him and Greg. The sex included oral and straight sex with a lot of PTM and even some lesbian licking between the cuties as they warmed up to the men. While Rocco started them off, it was Greg that brought them the most pleasure with his rough antics and demanding persona. The first time he came, he kept on screwing after rubbing out the load in order to maintain his energy level on high. Each gal showed some promise and both appeared to be into the sex at least a little bit.

Scene Two: Kati, a moderately attractive gal-next-door type, was joined by the curvy Asmaret, a gal that had a sweet ass and fixed up nicely after a day of sweaty work in the garden. Rocco focused his primary attention on Kati since she was new to porn but neither gal walked away unsatisfied as they were put through the paces. Kati had the lean schoolgirl look while Asmaret had the curvier figure that real men tend to appreciate more, this contrast seemingly working for Rocco as much as it should for viewers. He played with Kati's ice cream and then ate it off of her before she blew him with a newcomer's energy. He then screwed her while Asmaret watched and you had to know she'd join in after that. She sucked him off, cleaning his penis of Kati's juices and he then spanked her while he prepared to start boning. She took anal while Kati licked it clean (ATM), enjoying the action just as much. He rubbed out a load into Kati's mouth, which she swallowed down like a professional.

Scene Three: Theresa and Terry, had the next scene with the brunette taking on Joachim (Denis only watched) in time for the blonde to get sloppy seconds (or was it thirds?). Fans of interracial action will enjoy the first half of the scene more than anything there was a lot of oral with PTM after the boning began. I like outdoor scenes but the shadows here weakened the heat slightly even when Manuel was boning blondie. She then did some foot fetish stuff, sucking his feet as he prepared to assault her tight ass. She wasn't a major hotty by the look of her face but she sure knew her way around a penis. I really liked it when he oiled her up and this scene was very solid in terms of heat and chemistry. In the end, Denis was allowed to join in and blondie took a DP with a lot of gusto.

Scene Four: Lussi and Sarah, a couple of gals featured on the DVD cover, had an outdoor scene with Rocco and Jazz in a wooded area near a lake. The setup for the scene was kind of goofy but the action worked just fine as each member of this quartet fucked, sucked and poked every spot they could for a really long time. There was a lot of oral and straight but anal was the focal point and all the trimmings were present (pussy to mouth/PTM and ass to mouth/ATM included). There were some rougher moments in the scene although nothing like the outtake during the ending credits where Rocco smacked his balls against a table-ouch!). I don't think the heat and chemistry were as good with this scene as a few of the earlier scenes but it was plenty of fun to watch with some good replay value.

Summary: Rocco's movies are very distinctive in terms of how he approaches sex as both a performer and a director. From the rougher edge to the attractive women, he sure knows what fans want these days, just as he did in Rocco's Initiations 7. I'm going to suggest this one as Recommended to those of you who haven't seen the man in action although fans will consider it a must buy due to the amount of fuck for your buck as well as an interestingly diverse cast. It was not his best release but it sure had enough replay value to keep folks watching (and stroking) over and over again.
