Extra's: The disc has a photo gallery and 4-minutes of previews for other Vivid discs. Once again, Vivid disappoints with their scene selection menu - It's just numbered 1-20, with NO info on which scene is which. Totally idiotic!

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame. The picture quality varied from downright awful, to suprisingly good. Such is the risk sometimes, when dealing with compilation DVDs. The first 2 scenes were the worst of the bunch, looking like they came off of a VHS tape with bad tracking! Other scenes were much newer, and looked clean and professional. The sound was your standard 2-channel stereo fare. The volume was all over the place, which you tend to see in compilation DVDs sometimes. Why the studios don't try to manipulate the audio to make the volume uniform is beyond me.

The Movie: This is the ultimate Asian DVD, showcasing the most popular Asian stars in the adult world on a single 4-hour disc! Some of the scenes are a bit dated, but they give you a glimpse at some of the stars before they became really famous (and got oversized implants). The disc contains 20 scenes from other Vivid titles. The majority of the scenes are standard MF sex, with your basic positions and everything. They've also thrown in a few MMF scenes, a MFF scene, a girl-girl scene, a MF foot fetish scene complete with footjob, and even some anal & DP action! What really frustrated me was the constant barrage of advertisements from Vivid. It's not bad enough that you're forced to watch the ads in the beginning of the disc (that you can't skip), but now they're even putting ads in-between the scenes themselves! It's low-class, and a bad sign of things to come.

Final Thoughts: Gimmie an Asian is clearly targeted at people who love asians (not my thing, but to each his own). This DVD is packed with
4-hours of footage, with some really fantastic scenes, and some mearly ok ones. Picture and audio quality may be an issue here and definitely
keeps me from giving it a very high rating. But what keeps Gimme an Asian clearly in the 'rent it' space are the ads between scenes. I can barely tolerate being forced to watch ads at the beginning of a disc, but between scenes is just too much. Also, something I think should be a MUST for any compliation is to label their scenes! Compilations aren't a bad thing, as they can bring together the best of the best from other films, or specific types of scenes (like asians) all on to one DVD. I only wish Vivid had given this title more care and attention - It could have been a good one but because of the
issues above, I can only give it a Rent It.
