Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color with stereo English audio. It sounded a bit hollow at times with the music set a bit high but otherwise the audio wasn't much of a problem. The picture was actually pretty weak and the dvd transfer was not the best (thankfully Vivid has been working on improving this type of issue in more recent releases). The picture was often faded or grainy with video noise problems throughout. Considering the age of most of the scenes, it's easy to understand why it looks this way but fans of Racquel will have to be happy that they can get a compilation rather than ten separate movies to buy these scenes.

Body of Review: Fans of voyeurism and porn should be aware of the series by Vivid called Eye Spy. In the series, a group of ten scenes are put together where the lead is in the scenes being watched while she has sex with various partners. In the latest release in the series, Eye Spy: Racquel Darrian, we get to see a whole lot of the cute performer, much like in other volumes of the series (like Eye Spy Janine), where we got to see a lot of Vivid's popular stars. Take a look at the DVD cover to see if you find the gal attractive with her long mane of brownish hair and lean body. I think it had enough merit to warrant checking out by fans and non-fans alike but like most compilations, your desire to see the lead is what fuels it's rating for your own use. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by original movie, director, cast and action:

Scene One: Where The Boys Aren't 5: D-Judy Blue: Racquel, Christy, Francesca, Kelle, and Kym had a lesbian orgy by a cool looking outdoor pool. While the scene had a faded look to it with lots of grain, there was no denying the heat of the lick-fest going on. The perfect weather combined with an attractive group of gals made this solid, even with the technical limitations.

Scene Two: Bonnie & Clyde #4: D-Paul Thomas: Raquel, Dyanna, Derrick and Buck had a scene on a couch at night. The gals did most of the work with Derrick participating and Buck watching the threesome from the other room. It was much shorter than the last scene and only had oral with straight sex (aside from some minor lesbian play). It was fair.

Scene Three: Intimate Journey: D-Judy Blue: Racquel, Tianna, and Derrick had a scene on an afternoon while on a couch. The action started off without the older Tianna with the young twosome going at it orally and straight before Tianna joined them. A strap-on dildo was used at one point and both the gals gave him a blowjob to finish him off. This was a surprisingly warm scene for me since Racquel looked hot and the introduction of Tianna made the whole better than the sum of the parts.

Scene Four: Kink: D-Cleo Edwards: Janine, Corinne, Racquel, Derrick and Randy had a scene where there was also a light bondage inspired theme. While Janine didn't take any meat, the scene was good, even when she was just an accessory. Racquel, on the other hand, participated fully and made her presence known. Yum!

Scene Five: Rolling Thunder: D-Derrick Lane: Racquel, Jessica, Felecia and Bobby had a scene at a public diner with a number of people watching them. The onlookers were bikers and they seemed to enjoy the action more than I did but it wasn't bad.

Scene Six: Cloud 9: D-Derrick Lane: Racquel, Asia, and Derrick had an erotic scene on a bed with one another. Most of the action was between the women but they eventually turned their attention on him and everyone got off. This was a nice change of pace from some of the other scenes in how it took its time rather than rush from one position to the next.

Scene Seven: Bonnie & Clyde #3: D-Paul Thomas: Racquel, Jon, and Derrick had a scene outdoors in the afternoon. She wore a blonde wig and masturbated to get them in the mood (so to speak) and they aggressively went at it with her in several positions. I didn't like this scene as much as a few of the others as it seemed slow but not erotically so, but fans will appreciate it.

Scene Eight: Original Sin: D-Paul Thomas: Racquel and Darrian had a very short scene in a kitchen as she went to get a late night snack. When she was bending over, I was wishing her crack was my snack for the afternoon but Randy got to bone her for a few moments. It was too grainy for my tastes.

Scene Nine: Lunachick: D-Paul Thomas: Racquel and Derrick had a scene in a dark room with various visual effects and fans blowing. It wasn't the best scene here but it was worth a look.

Scene Ten: Racquel In The Wild: D-Paul Thomas: Christy, Racquel, Derrick, and Jon had a scene in an open field, on a bench. The gals started it off with some lesbian action before the guys joined in. A fairly short scene, it really didn't work for me much although it picked up near the end.

Summary: Due to the nature of the technical limitations of these mostly older scenes, I think the DVD was worth a rating of Rent It for anyone not a major fan of the star. True fans will be able to catch her act on the strip club circuit (she's in Houston, TX this week) but keep in mind that she's a blast from the past (who often flakes on showings). Personally, I think she's a babe in most of the scenes of this DVD but the action was tame compared to much of what you'll find on the market these days.
