Extra's: The best extra for me was the 10.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Kyle Kelly showing off the gals with some silly humor added in for good measure. There were also some trailers and photogalleries (for this movie and others).

Audio/Video Quality: Lipstick Lingerie & Lesbians was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in for JKP. Visually speaking, the movie was pretty straightforward with fair lighting, limited amounts of grain, and an overall pleasing bit of camera work that used some thought during the composition of the scenes. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise, but I had hoped for something better than that to discuss in terms of what I liked about the visuals (it needed something extra to set it apart from the crowded lesbian porn market). The stereo audio was about average with a droning soundtrack, background noise, and a mixed bag of vocal levels to contend with.

Body of Review: If there's a bigger fan of the lovely Jill Kelly out there, I haven't met them and it has long saddened me that she retired from working in front of the camera given some of her past work. It's hard to describe exactly what I liked about her other than her pretty face, kicking body, and sexual drive that is currently in short supply in far too many pornos. Now that she directs for her own company, Jill Kelly Productions (JKP), I've thought she might be able to convey her own heat into her contract performers but this has only sometimes been the case. When they hit something just right, JKP generally does a fine job but that success ratio isn't as high as it could be with better quality control. One of the better types of porn I've seen from them has been the so-called lipstick lesbian porn, much like Vivid's WTBA series, and their latest release is Lipstick Lingerie & Lesbians, a show that used only five gals to showcase what JKP is all about these days. If you like gal on gal action, give this review a closer look, noting that none of the action was bad and some of it was quite interesting:

Scene One: Ashton Moore, the new Club Jenna contract gal (that looks like she could be Jenna's sister), Tyra Banxxx, the lean, light skinned black gal known as a Cherry Boxxx gal for a long time, and Nikki Benz, the busty blonde JKP contract performer known mostly for her work with Pleasure Productions, all started off the movie by playfully teasing one another as they slowly undressed from some nice lingerie. Nikki wore a masculine outfit with pearls to keep the mindset straight but the gals all managed to lick, suck, and fondle one another nicely. Only the droning music got in the way of the heat this time as I thought they had some nice chemistry together. There was also some toy play going on but it wasn't bad either and the scene was a good way to start a lesbian flick.

Scene Two: Ashton Moore, looking even better this time, wore black lingerie as she teased Nikki Benz, also in black lingerie but tied up so she couldn't escape. The begging reminded me of my own sex life but the manner in which the two gals vocally played their roles was pretty cool too. The scene was similar to the last one with about half of it toys free and the other half focusing on the licking/fingering action I expected to see. I sensed some passion here, at least from Nikki, and that gave it some solid replay value.

Scene Three: Cindy Crawford, the lean blonde gal that recently left JKP, was up next in a stylish scene with lead, Ashton Moore, as the two wore wigs on an interesting stage. The action was fairly mechanical this time with the gals substituting loud vocals for true passion but those of you who like toys will appreciate that so many were used this time. It wasn't a bad scene but I've seen both of them really rock in the past (and even in the movie's other scenes) so the limitations this time were distracting.

Scene Four: Ashton Moore, surrounded by large cardboard cutouts of various JKP contract stars, did Cindy Crawford yet again, this time without the stylish wigs and lingerie in favor of a more straightforward screw. After some nice oral and toys, Cindy donned a strap on dildo to ride her partner hard (and wet). It showed a lot more passion than the last scene and I'd have even licked it clean if the gals asked me to. The background noises (cast most likely) and droning music weakened it for me since the harder tone of the groans conflicted with the musak light version of watered down jazz but once I turned the audio down, it was very heated.

Scene Five: Jenna Haze, Ashton Moore, and Tyra Banxxx were up last in a dressing room lesbian scene. I haven't seen much of Jenna since she went to JKP a few years back (leaving gonzo porn, males, and her best work far behind her) so it was good to see her again, even if she really wasn't all that great for me libido. She still looks like a girl while Ashton looked far more sexually appealing with her sweet curves and knowing look. Tyra was almost window dressing here as Jenna and Ashton seemed locked in mortal combat for supremacy of the scene, eventually using Tyra as their battleground. The contrasts of the scene were pretty pleasant and while I think Jenna Haze is very over rated these days, her fans will appreciate her here just the same.

Summary: Lipstick, Lingerie & Lesbians was one of those movies that will appeal to fans of lipstick lesbian action with the attractive cast. I'm going to boost it up just a hair to give it a rating of Recommended, although I think you'll need to enjoy watching gals use toys on one another to appreciate the movie more than as a rental. The technical matters could've used some polish and a bit more judicious editing but it's hard to deny the positive aspects of the movie that warranted my positive rating. Check it out if you like this kind of thing but remember that the amount of fuck for the buck was limited due to the movie being so short. With most companies offering releases over two hours these days, showing less than 90 minutes is a bit cheap and it was primarily due to the cast that I felt the need to give it extra credit. In short, Lipstick, Lingerie & Lesbians was a fun romp in the hay with a lovely and diverse cast but it was a bit on the short side too.
