A Ninn Worx Project, Fem Aria is a girls-only film in the tradition of Andrew Blake's later efforts—sensuous imagery often presented in slow motion, with pulsing, jazzy scores, and with a focus on the striptease. As with Blake, you get sultry girls and stylized, high-contrast photography that goes from black-and-white to heavily saturated color. You get leather wardrobes and French manicures. The difference with this Ninn Worx production is that you're more likely to get hardcore shots of cunnilingus and insertion. Although there are scenes of slow-mo masturbation, there are also some absolutely delicious scenes of lesbian sex. The downside is that some of these scenes are downright irritating in their spastic editing and MTV-style imagery.

Scene 1

The first scene shows a leather-clad biker chick stripping in a truck lot. In grainy black-and-white, she sheds her clothes, pouting for the camera, and goes fully nude. As the scene turns color, she begins fingering herself from behind. Separately, another chick in another part of the truck lot is also fingering herself with wild abandon. Very soon, these two gals are together, pressing themselves against each other and removing their clothes again. Excellent cunny-exploring and fingering follows, but the dirty talk really gets in the way of this scene. One of the girls has an irritating smoker's voice. Grade: B-

Scene 2

In a similarly structured scene, we're introduced to a gorgeous blonde playing with herself on a stairwell. A second blonde enters the picture, giving us a separate tease and playing with herself energetically. You guessed it, soon these two vixens encounter each other and begin a lesbian interlude. Outdoors, in front of a lovely fountain, they caress and moan. Fingering and toyplay follow, but there's nothing incredibly special about this scene, and it seems unfinished. Grade: B-

Scene 3

Two leather-clad seductresses are being all sultry in a factory setting, shining moody lights on each other and sticking their tongues out seductively, and finally stripping for each other. Abruptly, these two are suddenly in a different industrial setting, wearing more kinky clothing, and teasing the camera yet again. After an interminable length of time teasing the camera, these two finally get down to business, engaging in an enjoyable 69 and further licking. Grade: C

Scene 4

Outside, at the edge of a pool, a blonde and a brunette begin the same Ninn routine of stripping and teasing separately, then enjoying each other's company. Once they get going with each other, this is a very nice scene, made better by the outdoor nighttime setting. There's some excellent cunny-exploring here, in and out of the pool. I wanted this one to go on longer. Grade: B+

Scene 5

A blonde and a brunette strip and dance and look all pouty in front of a vintage car, then enjoy a great car-washing scene. They get each other wet in more ways than one, and then they get down to more serious business inside a garishly red diner setting. This scene could have been better if it had remained outside. Grade: B

VIDEO/AUDIO PRESENTATION

This is a full-frame presentation looks pretty good. Detail and sharpness are better than in some other Ninn Worx DVDs I've seen. Colors are quite good, often over-saturated but well-handled. The audio presentation shines, even though it's merely a stereo mix. The low end is powerful, coming through primarily in the energetic score.
