Audio/Video Quality: Ashlynn Brooke's Adventures in Sex was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by directors Paul Woodcrest & Wicked Sister for New Sensations using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The scenes were all shot with basic lighting to eliminate any shadows, texture, or hints of color variations. The set up was simple with the basic tease by Ashlynn, then her male partner would join in for various forms of oral and vaginal intercourse. The grain was minimal as was the video noise, the directors trying to provide a basic porn experience here rather than cultivate favorable press by use of silly special effects. It was far from perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual, fans of Ashlynn Brooke certain to appreciate it. The bitrate tended to hover around the 4.1 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard, the basic editing by FEWM not really doing much with the footage that I could see but then I don't have access to the raw footage to make a definitive statement. On the negative side, the company logo was watermarked on the lower right hand corner of the entire movie and extras, distracting me more than a little bit given the nature of the presentation. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, a series of jarring musical pieces making the production bug me at times, at least until the sex started and music stopped.

Body of Review: New Sensations has been boldly stepping up their game of late by expanding beyond their compilations into the sitcum porn parody market quite heavily but the company still makes vignette driven titles too. Ashlynn narrates the movie with clips between the scenes to describe them ever so slightly, the movie taking on a compilation feel even if it provided all new scenes of Ashlynn with various men. So, if you are one of her fans and want to see all new footage of her at work, you really can't go wrong by picking this one up. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Still, if you are a fan of the lovely young lady and want to see all new footage of the contract gal as yet unreleased, consider this a "must have" for all it has to offer rather than for all it failed to provide. In short, Ashlynn Brooke's Adventures in Sex was a competently shot series of scenes starring the titular heroine as she took on several guys, one at a time, providing more footage for the compilation mill in the future but not working as effectively for me as similar offerings at other companies.
