Audio/Video Quality: Most of the scenes looked average while a few looked really bad. In those bad scenes, the grain was horrible and the color bleeding way too much. Otherwise the scenes were in full frame and looked okay for a low end compilation. The audio was in stereo with little, if any, channel separation but most of the vocals were pretty clear. The music was often too loud but not as badly as in the past.

Body of Review: Jill Kelly has been one of the best performers in porn for years. She's a tall blonde with a quick smile and keen mind who has moved behind the camera these days. The first time I met Jill Kelly was in Houston at a signing when she was on tour, promoting her new company, Jill Kelly Productions. She started the company up with financier Bob Friedland as an attempt to bring some changes to the porn world. One of those changes was to provide royalties to performers since she was pissed off that so many compilations were being made of her older scenes and she didn't see a dime from them after the initial payment. A new such compilation from Vivid, comprised of scenes made with Jill from about a 5 year period (1995-2000), is what this review is about, Girls Only: Jill Kelly. The compilation also focuses on her work with other females, hence the "girls only" part of the title. If you are one of her big fans, this is not her best work but it still has a lot of Jill for a low price. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by movie, director, and fellow performers:

Scene One: Second Coming: D-Ralph Parfait: Jill and Tia Bella had an okay scene. I wish whomever was in charge of these compilations would start them off a bit hotter though.

Scene Two: Bad Girls 5: D-Paul Norman: Jill with Brittany Andrews, Rebecca Bardoux and Sindee Coxx had the shortest scene here and it was weak.

Scene Three: Blaze: D-Greg Steele & Brad Armstrong: Jill enjoyed Melissa Hill, Felecia, and Caressa Savage while they were on a couch in a dark room dressed in fetish attire. Not bad but Jill took a back seat to the others here.

Scene Four: Broken Promises: D-Dyanna Lauren: Jill with Janine in a sensual scene on a couch. Jill's short hair threw me and Janine looked better this time. Erotic warmth more than blazing heat.

Scene Five: Comix: D-Austin Ellison: Jill and Janine on a bed. Two hot women but too much grain and color bleeding.

Scene Six: Sex Machine: D-Michael Zen: Jill with Melissa Hill, Nikki Sinn, and Sindee Coxx in and around a hot tub at night. Warmish if not really warm action.

Scene Seven: Eternal Excesses: D-Toni English: Jill and Taylor Hayes on a couch with a toy. Pretty warm.

Scene Eight: Chasin' Pink 1: Cops: D-Ralph Parfait: Jill and Chasey Lain had an outdoor scene with Chasey dressed up like a cop. She could arrest me-yum. Toy use mostly with oral but too much grain.

Scene Nine: Sex Secrets Of A Mistress: D-Greg Steele & Brad Armstrong: Jill and Christy Canyon on a roof top. There was too much wind (and other) noise but both are favorites of mine so I enjoyed it. They used a large, clear pink dildo to have fun with.

Scene Ten: Stardust 2: D-Michael Zen: Jill and Jenteal on a couch. They looked great together.

Summary: I'm a fan of Jill and think she's still attractive. Some of her best work was with Wicked Pictures and VCA but Vivid owns the rights to some good scenes too. If you like her Vivid work at all, you'll get a lot of fuck for your buck here so I'm rating this one as Recommended. I just wish the bonus scenes had been with Jill and there had been some related extras. Oh well, still a good buy when on sale.
