Audio/Video Quality: Doggy Stylin' was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color the scenes were shot in over the years by various directors for Vivid Entertainment. Some of the scenes being over twenty years old, it's no wonder that they looked crappy with tons of grain, bad lighting, and camera work that looked like a trained chimpanzee would best with a blindfold on but for all the negative aspects of the visual elements, some of the scenes looked pretty good and this is the only footage of some of these performances artists of yesteryear available at this time. If you can handle the focus problems, shadows, and various other issues, you'll probably find this an interesting looking compilation. The monaural audio was certainly weaker than average too but I could hear the vocals in most cases and the music seemed downplayed more often than not.

Body of Review: One of the best positions for a guy to enjoy sex in is doggy style since it increases the friction on his penis and really milks his balls. As a guy myself, I can tell you that this position is great for other reasons too but the best will always relate to how good it feels when driving the penis deep inside my partner, be it her pussy or ass, usually causing me to launch my load much faster than average. Compilations of scenes using this position are not exactly numerous so it was a good thing to find a low cost compilation from Vivid Entertainment called Doggy Stylin' since it had a variety of scenes from the last few decades, including a scene by the lovely and talented Jenna Jameson. Summary: Doggy Stylin' was a tribute to the performers from Vivid's lengthy past as much as the doggy style position noted in the title. I'll admit that the scenes often looked and sounded weak but given the volume of them, the fact that most of the cast is now out of the business (albeit for good reason), and the low cost of the DVD itself, I felt it was worth a rating of at least Rent It for most folks that like older scenes. Some of the scenes had some interesting angles and heat with energy to spare although others were weak so the mixture of material here will allow many of you something worth looking at.
