The Porn:

While I've admittedly only viewed a few titles from the company, I have yet to be disapointed with an adult title from Simon Wolf video. This is another feature from the company that offers great-looking women, energetic performances and enough story to link the scenes together - no more, no less. The camera work gets all the right angles, the production values are nice and the sex is a nice mix.

While not a terribly long feature, there are still quite a few highlights. The show opens with Eric and Ashley Long; the scene starts off with some conventional sex, but soon moves into some fairly intense anal, with Ashley taking it in both reverse cowgirl and missionary positions. The second scene is a very enjoyable lesbian encounter between Sondra Hall and Jordan Haze. It's a well-done, sensual scene with a lot of kissing and a lot of oral play - some toys for the two to use would have been nice, but for them to find some in the middle of an empty beach may have seemed too random (although porn and logic are two things that shouldn't go together, I suppose). Anyways, both actresses have great bodies and are passionately and convincingly into each other. Good camera work brings us right into the action as the two use their toungues, nipples and fingers on each other. A very hot scene with hot women going to town on each other...definitely memorable stuff.

Scene three continues the high energy of the picture, with Farrah and Billy Glide getting on on a boat. Farrah's got few too many distracting tattoos (what's with all that stuff?), but she has a good face and a smokin' body. The two start off with some intense groping and foreplay. The scene definitely had sparks, as the two moved into reverse cowgirl. Farrah makes the scene, seeming very into it and making some great faces as she rides her co-star.

The next scene is between Calli Cox, Venus and Brett Rockman. The two girls have their fun for a while (although their fun wasn't as convincing as the bit between Haze and Hall earlier, the camera angles/choreography as the two lick each other's pussies is perfect). Eventually, Rockman stops watching and participates, but only takes on one girl at a time (the other girl watches and masturbates). Scene five had Eric and blonde Juliana Kinkaid going at it on top of a car in doggystyle, missionary and reverse cowgirl before Eric gave Juliana a facial.

The show ends with Brittney Skye, Sondra and Chris Cannon going at it on the beach - once again, similar to the earlier scene, Cannon and one of the girls goes at it while the other masturbates and watches the proceedings. Good intensity here, but I wished that both girls would be involved at once instead of just one at a time.

I liked "Malibu Blue". It didn't get bogged down in what story there was and although some of the latter scenes don't quite have the energy as the earlier ones, I really consider this above-average porn. Great camera work, great looking women and good intensity/chemistry between the stars. Recommended.

The DVD

VIDEO/AUDIO: Presented in full-frame (on a dual-layer disc no less), the presentation is certainly quite good. Sharpness and detail are strong, and no compression artifacts or other flaws are spotted. The bright, warm colors of the locations also come across well. Sound is first-rate, as the recording of the moaning and groaning is crystal clear.

EXTRAS: Trailers for other Simon Wolf titles, including a couple with Aurora Snow (who I have a huge crush on); a nicely done "making of" and photo gallery. Bloopers with Sondra Hall, who has a surprising amount of difficulty trying to get a bit of dialogue down right (that's ok, she's still hot), are also included.

Overall: Hot women, a good mix with some girl-on-girl stuff, great camerawork and high energy make "Malibu Blue" a solid porn effort. Some things I would have done differently here and there (the two girls should have been both involved in the two threesomes), but still definitely above-average adult fare.
