The Movie:

Directed by 'Lil' Lo,' this Ninn Worx production takes the three prolonged scene formula of their Neo Pornographia line and twists it around so that it's bridged not by the harsh trash talking of those movies but by some hip hop/gangsta rap performances, courtesy of Wesley Pipes under the alias of Ghetto Child. If you're not a fan of this style of music, you'll likely not be into these scenes but those who appreciate rap might be surprised to find that Pipes isn't half bad at all. Some of the numbers are a bit too long but they break up the sex nicely and so therefore serve their purpose. Speaking of sex, this one does deliver, especially the first scene…

Scene One – Eva Angelina And Mr. Marcus: This one starts off with Eva looking ultra hot in her lingerie, indulging in some solo action and talking dirty to the camera. Video:

Shot in 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen, this transfer is a mixed bag. The cinematography makes excellent use of the well light interiors and color reproduction is good, as is the set design. This makes for some pretty interesting compositions, the kind you don't expect to see in pornography. The problems with the image lie in the source material in that because it was shot on digital video, there's a fair amount of compression evident on the image and sometimes when the action starts to move a little faster, you'll notice some blurring if you're watching on a larger set. Also, at the top of the frame are what appear to be some sort of tracking lines. Skin tones look nice and lifelike, however, and there aren't any issues with print damage.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 sound mix is perfectly sufficient and noticeably better than your average porn movie. The classical score mixes in with the more modern background music composed for the film and, when played out overtop of the rather sadistic and taunting dialogue, it makes for an experience that borders on the surreal. Everyone who speaks can be hard cleanly and clearly and there aren't any problems with hiss or distortion on this set at all.

Extras:

Those who own more than a couple of Ninn Worx releases know that they almost always include a behind the scenes segment and Ghetto Fabulous is no exception. This one shows us Eva getting into make up and looking completely sultry. We see her dance a bit for the camera, get warmed up, and pose for some hardcore photographs. We also see some sex scene footage in here before we're treated to a quick interview with her in which she talks about her scene and her plans to relax afterwards. After that we move on to Lyla and the process more or less repeats itself, and in her interview she talks about how she did a lot of stupid stuff with the money she made when she first started in porn. Pipes shows up for a brief after sex scene interview, and then we see some behind the scenes footage from the third and final scene. Again, we see the two girls get ready for their scene, we see them pose, and then we get some quick interviews with the girls and then with Wesley Pipes in his hip hop persona as Ghetto Child.

Four music videos from the songs used in the production, and a large still gallery of over one hundred hardcore images from the movie round out the extra features for this DVD.

Final Thoughts:

While the hip hop infused into the production won't be to everyone's taste, it works in the context of the movie and the three sex scenes in Ghetto Fabulous are all top notch. This one is worth it for Eva Angelina's scene alone. Recommended.
