Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the typical 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that most porn is shot in. The scenes looked kind of grainy and there was a bunch of video noise to contend with but the picture wasn't bad. There were no compression artifacts noticed. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English but with a lot of dialogue, there wasn't much of the separation you'd hope for, but except with the generic music, it sounded okay.

Body of Review: Vivid is not known for it's gonzo productions but it has a few directors that are pretty talented in terms of providing some manner of variety in their documentation of performances on camera. Their lead director, who uses aliases for many of his movies, is Paul Thomas and the guy has been in porn since before most of you were born. While most of his releases are features, typically with varied results, his latest DVD is Chloe's Pool Party, a gonzo that allowed the cast explore their thoughts on sexuality while still providing some decent sex scenes for your enjoyment. The results were mixed but fans of movies such as Shane's World and Wicked Sex Party will probably like this one a lot. Here's a breakdown of the cast by scene, noting that there was a lot of nudity without the sex as well.

Scene One: Vicky, the MILF of the 2004 AEE Show, had a scene with Tyler on a couch. He went down on her, she went down on him, and the scene was unfortunately edited into the interview. Nick joined them and they all screwed in a few positions. There was even a brief bit of anal before the facials.

Scene Two: Chloe, the lead gal with white blonde hair on the front DVD cover, started this one off by blowing Randy on a chair. She was doing a good job when Eric(?) joined them. They switched to letting Randy bone her doggy style while she blew Eric and the scene ended in no time at all. I think it was too short for my tastes but she has a lot of oral talent.

Scene Three: This scene was a montage of interviews and the females masturbating on lawn chairs. It wasn't bad to watch a few times.

Scene Four: Chloe was back, this time taking on Nick outdoors by the pool. They played a bit and she sucked cock better than he probably does before they boned. It finished up with a pop shot to her face. She really could work her hips into his and the scene had some good energy.

Scene Five: Mason, another big hit at the 2004 AEE Show, Hollie, a blonde, and Ashley, a gal that seems to have come from nowhere to a big fan base, all had a lesbian scene on a bed. They used toys and orally pleased one another, with Ashley taking a vibrator in her tiny ass like a champion. I liked the daisy chain they all got into and wished the scene was longer.

Scene Six: Vicky, still looking far younger than her actual age, Hollie, trying to keep up, and Randy, the luckiest guy of the movie, had a scene by the edge of the pool. At the same time, Mason, Ashley and Eric had a scene in the attached hot tub, both of which looked like a great reason to own a pool.

Summary: I'm going to suggest this one as a Rent It although fans of less structured sex movies will probably enjoy this enough to pick up a copy. For them, Chloe's Pool Party will be a fun ride to enjoy many times over, but I wanted more sex and less talk so I can't honestly suggest it as anything higher. In general though, the cast looked good and had a bunch of fun and that is all you can really ask for of a porno.
