Scene One: Starring Veronica Lake Reminiscent of a 1950's movie, Veronica Lake goes to visit the private investigator because she found pages from a book in her pocket. She wasn't sure how they got there, but she recognized the book. Mistress Liss' Take on the Film: Ah yes, the seven deadly sins. I found the book she had interesting because the sin was spelled out in English, where the text in Russian. I loved the old- fashioned theme of this movie, with the slow and seductive jazz music playing. The narrator of the story has a very sexy Irish accent, and I wish they would have included information about whose voice it is, as well as the male actors. Even though it doesn't give this information and the extras are pretty well lacking, I still recommend this one for the guys and dolls out there. This is a great "couples" movie.
