Audio/Video Quality: Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy 2 was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio widescreen color as released by director Mason for Elegant Angel using the high definition VC-1 codec with 1080p resolution. The camera work was again solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows so the picture appeared to be in line with her other recent works to date. Mason has made or assisted on a number of titles over the years, the technical matters taking back seat (pun intended) to the raw energy of the sex, but her skill levels have definitely been improving with the camera too, showing she pays attention to making her movies look increasingly polished and crystal clear. I saw no compression artifacts though there was about 16.1 Mbps video bitrate but the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the ladies and their well lit bodies. The compositions of the shots helped maximize the potential of the ladies too, rarely relying on extreme close ups all the time as some seem destined to do and the editing by Bossman Hall allowing her vision to remain as complete as possible. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, the grunts and groans heard well enough but the music by Mybeatshop elevating the proceedings nicely.

Body of Review: Mason is a female director at Elegant Angel that has come a very long way since her initial efforts for various competitors, some of her older works considered "to hardcore to have been made by a broad" as it was stated to me. Well, contrary to that opinion, the attractive director has proven herself time and again to get right down in the smutty trenches to obtain all the needed shots, often outshining most males in terms of the clarity not only of her visuals but her thematic approaches too. Her latest case in point would be Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy 2. On the surface, it clearly stars beautiful Tori Black as the spotlight lady (in each of the five lengthy scenes) but it also shows her doing her first DP, taking on multiple women, doing interracial, and all those things some complain the "pretty girls" never do. I'm not about to suggest Tori has always been on my top ten list over the years, my own observations have proven that other directors have held her back more often than not so why would I find her all that special, but Mason again finds ways of allowing the starlet to fully express her sexuality in such a manner that even a jaded old grump like me finds this latest work to improve even on her wonderfully solid performances from Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy 1. By giving Tori the freedom to go all out, Mason again cements her status as a "go to" director for enhancing an already hot property, meriting additional acclaim along the way. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The replay value and fun factor were solid and the levels of chemistry in most scenes enhanced the final product, making this title easily worth a rating of Highly Recommended or better depending upon how much you are into Tori Black. In essence, if someone that accepts much of her earlier work displayed her as too passive and too willing to rely on looks alone as I have believed can see the relative merits of this single disc release, her fans should find this to be her pinnacle set of performances to date. In short, there were no surprises in Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy 2 since Mason relied primarily on the physical appeal of her focal point to carry the day, this showcase piece standing up as solid as any of the other company spotlights have this year. If you're really into Tori to begin with, this is a no brain decision but even those of you on the margin will want to get this one since it is so crazy hot a star vehicle for Tori Black. In terms of the high definition upgrade, the company went all out to make this look as fine as any of their showcase titles, the visual enhancement most noticable on large screen televisions capable of properly displaying the 1080p resolution it offered; in short, making Tori look as sexy as possible short of seeing her in person.
