Audio/Video Quality: Official Big Brother Parody was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Nate Liquor for Third Degree Films using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases with a 480 resolution. The lighting was strong, eliminating the shadows and grain I dislike so much, the overall look of the show pretty good for a guy best known as a production assistant. The bitrate tended to hover around the mid 6.1 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it, the composition of the camera angles typically optimal for the ladies. The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, each of them used to softer lighting in recent scenes, this particular cast able to handle the added lighting quite well. The sole audio track was presented in 1.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited but much like the gonzo titles he likes to shoot. There was also no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers. The voices could be clearly heard though, the balancing between those and the music capably handled.

Body of Review: Nate Liquor might get less press than his cohort in crime, Mike Quasar, but their work together at Third Degree Films is often some of the best the gonzo and parody markets have to offer. Their latest project coming my way is called the Official Big Brother Parody, a spoof on a long running reality television series. Originally a foreign show, the series has seen several variations across the globe, the basic tenant being that a bunch of contestants show a willingness to do whatever it takes to win a big pile of money, this pornified version including a variety of sexual trysts to keep it far more interesting than any testimonials reality TV has to offer. With a curvy cast led by such notables as Asa Akira, Courtney Cummz, and Juelz Ventura, the parody poked some vicious fun at the original show while never losing sight of the fact that people interested in this version were in it for the sex. The back cover described the movie like this: “One house, ten oversexed strangers and a battle for half a million dollars! Anything can happen in this Official Big Brother Parody featuring the hottest confessionals from the sexiest contestants Big Brother's ever seen! Breanne the stripper, Courtney the naked girl, Juelz the manicurist and many more hopeful hotties give new meaning to the term "Head" of Household while Xander, Mick, Rocco and the rest of the guys rise to every challenge! These eager contestants form intimate alliances in every scene, as they all race to figure out which person is the saboteur!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The replay value and strokability was as solid as most company efforts, the technical qualities just as refined as Nate and Mike provide on their gonzo outings. In short, Official Big Brother Parody was a limited send up on the original show that has proven so popular across the globe, the sexual trysts good enough to provide some spank bank material to even the most jaded of viewers.
