Audio/Video Quality: Hardcore Candy was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jonni Darkko for Evil Angel. This being a compilation of some of his better scenes, they were all pretty new compared to most compilations released these days, the colors accurate, the fleshtones looking good, and the lighting almost always solid. In that sense, the varying bitrate and other variables did not impact the lengthy (over five hours on two discs) movie, Jonni’s works including some nods to artistic license but virtually always sharp so this was not an issue. The audio was also good, starting off with music to tease by in most cases, then dropping it for the vocals to take over (192 Kbps, 48 kHz sampling rate, 2.0 Dolby Digital encoded in post production).

Body of Review: Jonni Darkko has long held sway in porn as a musically inclined fellow, using his skills with music to enhance the final product so often focused on for the visuals by others. As a result, some of his myriad of works for Evil Angel have gathered substantial critical acclaim, the result of which lately has translated into the double disc compilation of Hardcore Candy. With over five hours of strokable material from a variety of his popular series (as listed below). The sheer volume of the ten scenes here precludes me from making generic statements but there were a great deal of attractive ladies getting hardcore orally, vaginally, and in some cases, anally. So yes, the hardcore of the title and the “candy” factor was sweet for those into fetching young lasses. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Summary: Hardcore Candy by director Jonni Darkko for Evil Angel was a double disc compilation of newer scenes from his previously released movies, the cover only barely alluding to the fact that it was a compilation (very barely) and containing no new footage. As best I could tell, there was nothing edited from the scenes I already had and many of them were pretty tight (in all the usual ways) so the strokability, replay, and fun factor elements will likely appeal to enough of you to make this worthy of being Recommended but it could have been even better with a slightly different focus, my appreciation of Jonni’s work enough to suggest this for those unfamiliar with it. In short, Hardcore Candy had a lot of fuck for the buck in terms of hardcore sexual action and many of the ladies would qualify as youthful enough for the “candy” designation (though certainly not all, no matter how much I enjoy their work) so if you haven’t already picked up the titles that comprise this release, give it a look to find a wealth of spank bank material suitable for a broad audience.
