Audio/Video Quality: Ass Titans 6 was presented in anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen as shot in by director Raul Cristian for Evil Angel in the MPEG-2 codec used for standard definition releases (including 480 resolution). There was a lot of strong lighting that helped maximize the quality of the picture and the three main scenes appeared to be a major upgrade from Raul’s previous works, further investigation yielding information that led me to believe that Chris Streams shot the best work by the domestic performers and someone else (Andrew Youngman was credited on the company website) as shooting the Lea scene (which seemed to be missing a lot of toy work). Frankly, whoever gets credit for the scenes, they were a huge upgrade over the earlier works by the guy, his domestic titles probably all shot by Chris given how they tend to show more fluid camera work and better lighting. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 192 Kbps bitrate but there was certainly nothing special about the aural quality of the scenes, web-to-DVD tend to be limited in that sense.

Body of Review: Raul Cristian is a European director at Evil Angel, recent developments expanding his reach via his American distributors. His latest title coming in for review is called Ass Titans 6, a single disc that takes scenes from the company website and presents them in this form; the credited directors online being Chris Streams and Andrew Youngman. To me, that is perhaps the best of both worlds since there has long been some positive buzz about the fan-interactive experience on Raul’s website “Live Gonzo” where the scenes are driven in part due to fan input as the performers take breaks to communicate with them. Given the piracy menace hurting the industry so much, shows like these will probably increase in popularity, my personal appreciation for the resulting discs a given even if the main draw (the interactivity with the performers) is then gone. This time, the main performers garnering the attention on the cover were Julia Ann, London Keyes, and Asa Akira, the cover incorrectly listing that there were “six blazing anal scenes” since even including the bonus scene there were only four as Lea did not do anal). If you go to the company website, you can see glimpses of the main scenes but frankly, the website might be the best way to keep in touch with this series since the live shows are so much more fun.

Summary: Ass Titans 6 by director Raul Cristian for Evil Angel had some high and low points so I rated it as Recommended but it is tough to argue that Asa Akira, London Keyes, and Julia Ann are worth anything less than a “must have” for any of their fans (not to mention connoisseurs of fine porn). Every babe in the movie was fuckable and the FIVE scenes (the cover promised six scenes, one of them being the bonus scene for the record), was a pretty fair value if you find this one on sale but even then one of the scenes lacked anal that was advertised (thankfully, Lea’s scene). In short, Ass Titans 6 had sexy ladies such as Asa Akira, Julia Ann, and London Keyes, all fucking up a storm and while not their best work, still better than many of their peers provide on a great day so check it out. Keep in mind that the biggest perk of these scenes was when they were broadcast live, the interactivity with fans being a huge selling point that is lost in these DVD volumes archiving them so well otherwise.
