Extra's: DVSX is one of those companies that I'm not particularly familiar with since I've only watched a couple of their previous releases so I hoped for some decent extras on the DVD. After all, in the very crowded field of porn these days, DVD consumers want value added content; be it bonus scenes, lengthy movies, extra footage, and/or a host of bonuses to set a company apart (and coax our money out of our pockets). Lucky Bastard 2 had some decent, if short, extras that I liked and my fingers are crossed that they expand on them in the future. The first extra on the DVD was a short Behind the Scenes feature that lasted under 4 minutes. While short, and in a foreign language, it was cute to watch the cast as it readied itself for action (not to mention the cameraman getting pissed off at the BTS guy for interrupting him). There was also a series of 16 solo scenes with the gals getting around 3 minutes each to play with themselves while naked on a couch (or bed). I wish the gals were identified in the scenes and that they lasted longer but I did appreciate the action. There was also a pop shot compilation of the guys ejaculating, a photogallery, and trailers for movies like Double Parked 8, Total Babe 3, Teen Sensations 7.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is shot these days. The colors seemed pretty good although there were some compression artifacts to contend with and the camera angles were not always complimentary. The lighting was straight forward and the overall impression I got from watching the movie was that the picture was handled well most of the time. The audio was presented in PCM (pulse code modulated) stereo and was fairly limited to moans and groans with little else to mention. If you're looking for an audio track that has lots of music and stereo separation, look elsewhere but it was basic porn in terms of the sound this time.

Body of Review: Orgies used to be somewhat of a common occurrence in porn back in the golden years since it appealed to the decadent sensibilities of those participating as well as the audience given the fantasy nature of the act. In recent years, a couple of companies have tried to revive this kind of thing but nowadays, the most common version of it is the gang bang. A gang bang is where a bunch of guys have sex with a single gal, usually a somewhat skuzzy looking gal, and finish off by draining their balls all over her ass, pussy and face. In a reversal of terms, DVSX now provides a reverse gang bang, Lucky Bastard 2: Pussy Palooza!, where a group of gals get to tackle a single man (along with each other). To be honest, I was first worried that the show would involve the gals all donning strap on dildos and plugging away at some poor sap; a type of action I'm really not ready for so early in the morning (if you catch my drift). Thankfully, it was all the usual oral, straight and anal with the variations on a theme like technical DPs, ATM, PTM and lesbian action on the side. So, if this sounds interesting to you, watching JJ, Robert Rosenberg, and Mickey Blue getting to earn the title of "Lucky Bastard" by virtue of screwing a lot of European honeys, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that the action was fairly similar in each scene:

Scene One: Sarah, Jill, Natali, Arwen, Lucy, Claudia, and Robert had a scene that started off with him inviting them into his gameroom. Sarah and he shot a bit of pool until he pulled out his pecker and started getting hard; asking her if she wanted to play with it also. She started blowing him and then the other gals tasted him a bit (not enough though) before they all got onto the couch for the scene. The gals took turns having him and each other with most, if not all of them (it was hard to keep track of everyone if you know what I mean), taking anal after the oral and straight sex. Natali was one of the best gals in my opinion, thrusting her hips as she climbed aboard to ride him but none of the gals were slackers. While much of the scene consisted of mechanical screwing, I think it was a lot of fun to watch since many of the women looked fit and lean (as well as good at what they did for a living).

Scene Two: Mili, Melissa, Nikol, Patricia, Simone, and JJ had a similar scene where he and the gals were in a large living room of some sort. He was giving Mili a drink and spilt it on her (like it was an accident) and did the only gentlemanly thing possible; he cleaned it off her (with his tongue). The sex was somewhat mechanical in this scene too as the ladies coupled off in-between giving it up to Robert. While there wasn't a lot of unique chemistry between most of the cast this time, they all had high energy levels that proved they could milk a nut with the best of them. The toughest thing in the porn world seems to be to record an orgy scene really well and I can hardly fault Mr. Phillipe for not managing to save the scene with direction but it can be done so perhaps he needs to work on it some more (I believe all of his work to date has been involving orgies for DVSX). In any case, the sex had a moderate amount of oral and straight with a lot of anal for fans.

Scene Three: Darina, Lucy, Claudia, Sofia, and Daria, all wanted to surprise Mickey for his birthday by bringing him a cake in bed. He asked if any of them wanted to share it with him and all he could manage to do is exchange the cake for some pie; hair pie that is, as he went down on them for a warm up. The action seemed somewhat warmer to me as the gals tried to make it a special day for the young man, many of them doing each other as they took turns getting their pussy and ass stuffed by the perverted guy. This scene seemed substantially shorter than the others for some reason but I still liked it the most as the variety of gals seemed to click better this time (maybe it was the editing or technical reasons but it was pretty solid from my point of view.

Summary: I had mixed feelings on this release since the sex was all good but mechanical in nature. By that, I mean that the gals seemed talented at milking a nut and none of them seemed to be watching a clock but they didn't always seem to be into the fun as fun (sort of half way between a clockwatcher and a willing participant, trying to make a few bucks as their primary goal). It had enough value added content and sex to rate a Rent It, especially since the gals were usually very attractive and lean but it rarely convinced me that they'd be doing it without the money and while I'm realistic enough to know that "is" the motivator, I'd like to fantasize if I'm going to drop my hard earned money on a show.
