Callie Calypso/Tyler Nixon

The premiere scene in Mason's second installment of the Art of Romance series begins with a drawn out introductory segment involving Callie Calypso and Tyler Nixon. The scene essentially consists of the two on a romantic hiking expedition of sorts, with the onset giving the viewer some sceneic views of the mountainous terrain that Tyler and Callie are hiking through. After a decently acted out prelude to the scene action sets in with some sensual kissing between the stars, leading up to a cunnilingus session from Tyler that evolves into a missionary fuck that initiates sex. The scene is captured pretty well, with a large emphasis on a more sensual intensity that both Callie and Tyler seem to portray well throughout it's context. Things progress nicely through the course of it all, and maintain a decent energy while sticking to the guidelines by showcasing a lot of kissing, and a pretty passionate encounter that gradually gets little more intense in the latter stages. After running through the standard rigort of positioning, the scene caps off with Tyler shooting the "conventional cumshot" over Calllie's stomach before the two share  kiss and the screen fades. A nice scene here overall that couples and romantic watchers will probably enjoy, having a good energy from Tyler and Callie to keep it moving along.

Holly Michaels/Jillian Janson/James Deen

The second scene in the film provides a pretty noteworthy tease sequence between Holly Michaels and Jillian Janson, again playing up the soft and sensual vibe that the film centers itself around. The tease takes place in an outdoor setting, eventually moving indoors where the girls indulge in some lesbianic action before our stunt cock enters view in the form of James Deen. The scene continues with Holly being the main focus of James and Jillian, with James munching her muff while Jillian makes out with her and sensual kisses her over her body. The girls then give James a cock-worshipping blowie before Jillian jumps onto his rod for a cowgirl ride, while Holly sits on his face. Sex is a little less sensual here, but still manages to present itself as such, relying on a steady pace and lots of kissing and eye contact between the trio. Things move forward pretty well here, with the girls politely switching up on James' cock and James giving them both a generous helping of it before he blasts a load over Jillian's stomach and chest as Holly holds her hand tightly. A pretty nice scene here overall, there was some drag toward the later stages but I think the overall effect of it lefting me partial to it over the first scene.

August Ames/Danny Mountain

The third scene begins as we see August Ames lying out by a pool, before her boyfriend (played by Danny Mountain) approaches her and expresses his apologies for a recent quarrel the two have apparently had. August soon forgives her significant other and the two decide to take things indoors and rekindle their love by pleasuring each other through various forms of sex. The action begins with a muff munching from Mr Mountain, before August returns the favor with a satisfactory conventional blowjob that soon moves into a cowgirl style fuck to begin the sex. The scene sets a nice tone for itself as it moves onward, translating to the viewer as a passionate encounter that has some heightened mements in the later parts of it all. The scene caps off with Danny blasting a generous load over August's perfectly toned stomach and chest before the two share a kiss to finalize it. A lot of the same type of action here as we've been seeing in the rest of the film, but a good scene nonetheless.

Scene 4:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lily Love/Seth Gamble

Lily Love encapsulates our view in the final scene in the film, kicking things off as she wears a black neglige number and struts around a glass window that presents a breathtaking view into the city. Seth Gamble soon makes his way onto set, whispering some sweet nothings into Lily's ear before the action sets in with Seth diving into her pussy face first. The action is relatively cookie-cutter in accordance to the rest of the film, attempting to convey a romantic encounter between two lovers and making a pretty valid attempt to do so, with nothing interestingly significant  to set this scene apart from the others in any way, shape, or form. The action again begins in a missionary fuck between the stars, moving through the standard set of positioning before Seth busts his nuts over Lily's stomach and chest to fall in line to the uniformity of the rest of the film. Not a bad scene I suppose, but the carbon copy style of it all tended to wear on me by the final scene, there was really nothing that set it apart from the rest of the film in any way.

Mason's Art of Romance 2 had the components of a well-versed romance porn, but each scene had such a likeness to the others that I found myself twiddling my thumbs by the end of it all. I suppose at this day and age that it's essential for a director to dabble in several different styles of adult film such as Mason has, and while I don't consider myself to be an expert in "romance" porn by any means, I do actually think that buyers and fans would probably be pleasantly pleased by the scenes showcased in this film. It provides a more passionate look at the standard sex we see in a lot of porn and succeeds in doing so; For that I think it definitely deserves  the rating of recommended, with readers hopefully understanding the specific demographic whom I'm recommending it to. Extras are pretty sparse with a slideshow being the only real special feature as opposed to the absolute standard. If you're in the market for a passionate roll in the hay with your significant other and would like to watch other people fuck while you do it I'd suggest checking this one out, it's a nice collection of scenes and a well made film from a top-notch director in today's industry. Recommended.
