Audio/Video Quality: Art Of Romance was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Mason for her new line called “Erotica X” as distributed by Mile High Distribution. Mason and Alex Ladd handled all the camera work but Mason herself was in charge of Art Direction and other decisions here. No one was credited for aural components or editing but both seemed capably handled, the scenes starting with some tease to classical music before the minimal vocals were all the sounds heard. The lighting was strong though and there were no obtrusive company watermarks planted continuously on the screen, the primary focal point of all four scenes being the two pairs being featured in each. The bitrate was decent and the stereo audio was about the same as always, a healthy balance of camera angles and varying distance shots giving the scenes better replay value.

Body of Review: Mason is a popular female director who has a new line called “Erotica X” distributed by Mile High Distribution. While not as hardcore as her previous titles of note, Mason has delved into a fusion of erotica and gonzo that many are coming to like, her third title for the company called Art Of Romance. The four scenes starred ladies including Mia Malkova, Capri Anderson, Lia Lor, and Anna Morna; each of them as physically attractive as expected, the ladies paired up with males to have a good time. The back cover described the movie like this: “Art Of Romance is an intimate portrayal of loving and sensual erotica, directed by the AVN award winning, Mason. Starring Anna Morna, Mia Malkova, Lia Lor, and Capri Anderson, "Art Of Romance" features stunning visuals, powerfully passionate sex scenes, and unforgettably beautiful locations. From an erotic lingerie tease, to a gorgeous beachside tryst, this movie is a celebration of courtship and devotion.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Anna’s Secret: Anna Morna, an attractive brunette also referred to as Anastasia Morna, was up first in a tryst with James Deen. She walked around in a bathrobe to piano music until dumping it while looking for someone, donning some sexy black lingerie as she finally found who she was looking for, embracing James with a kiss in the house. They hooked up on a large mattress where he spent some time warming her up orally, his kisses resulting in her losing some of her already skimpy attire. They wore standard beach attire as they kissed on the sandy beach, her black bikini hugging her all natural curves quite well as the romantic music played in the background, their lack of vocals not a big factor here either. They threw a message in a bottle about their undying love before hooking up on the nearby rooftop, Seth going down on her as she leaned against the railing (front and back) which led to an impossibly short blowjob. They vaginally boned from there, her light pubic patch noticeably thinned out, the gal very passive until she was on top to grind into his turgid rod. He then assumed the dominant role in missionary which soon caused him to pop a load of population pudding on her torso, some post coital cuddling included as the ball batter oozed down her body.

Scene Three: Just The Way You Are: Lia Lor, yet another lean blond with appealing features, then jammed out to some upbeat music while wearing a white crop top and matching panties in the house. I liked the tune even if no one thought to credit it, the gal swaying to and fro until Giovanni Francesco walked in on her. Summary: Art Of Romance by director Mason for Mile High Distribution had a decent amount of replay value and strokability to the four scenes, the minimal extras needing some work but the movie showing enough appeal to this critic to merit rating it as Recommended. Needless to say, if you prefer Mason’s older style of hardcore gonzo, rumor has it that she may provide something a bit spicier in that vein in the near future so I’ll keep you apprised. Fans of erotica with less need for power porking may even like this one better than I did, individual tastes certainly applying here, others maybe not so much which is why I caution fans to give it a look before you leap. In short then, Art Of Romance took a minimalist approach to providing some chemistry filled sexual trysts that cater more towards female fantasies than mine but in a way that men can appreciate too, a few rough edges on the total project showing some room for improvement but this might appeal as an alternative to the current crop of erotic features that get bogged down in providing a message, you will likely see why Mason is still considered one of the most talented directors in the industry.
