First Impressions:
Though he's said it a few dozen times in the past, a title like Whoregasm requires its repeating – the Dirge is not a fan of same sex scenes. Back in his teenage years, the thought of hot lesbian action usually guaranteed some groin grabbing. But now, two decades on, gal/gal grinding just seems old hat. There are a couple reasons for this: (1) bisexuality as a concept, is more mainstream than ever. When the decidedly unsexy duo of Britney and Madonna share a sloppy onstage smooch, you know this particular male fantasy has turned the corner. (2) Porn stars have become pros at "faking" femme/femme love. Granted, a lot of our adult entertainment talent makes no bones about their free thinking lifestyle choices, but few really have the personal proclivity to back it up. Just because you "enjoy" or "love" women doesn't mean you can successful sell a girl on girl sequence. Sure, you can pretend, but there is a big difference between passion and make believe. For this critic, it's easily definable and frequently visible. That being said, there is some very aggressive action on this DVD. The question becomes, was it enough to sway the Dirge's rather stubborn mindset? The answer may actually surprise you.

The Sex Scenes:

With nary a guy in sight, and lots of toys for the trying Whoregasm is really just an excuse to see ladies lancing each other with Doc Johnson merchandise. Following a little made up plotting (whore and pimpette, career gal and kept girl, etc.) we get lots of cabaret, some typical oral and digital manipulation, and more plastic in pussy than in a dozen standard straight features. If you find such rubberized ramming the height of hardcore horniness, Whoregasm is the DVD for you. If you're looking for a little romance along with your considered cunt packing, you should perhaps look elsewhere. Most of the scenes build up a good level of she sweat, but sadly there's little in the way of squirting - or sensuality, for that matter - to be found.

In a rather effective one-on-one sequence, Lexi and Julie set a brazen benchmark that the rest of Whoregasm has a hard time matching. Beginning with some stupid hooker/madam dynamic (each scene has a subtitle – this one's called "Size Queens") the pair really pour on the porn as they lube up and love each other. This is rough, forceful action, with none of the lipstick lesbianism we see in standard straight titles. By the time these gals are done, they are split and spent – and so are we.

While better looking than the first duo featured, Staci and Kami could learn a thing or two about girl/girl grinding from Scene 1's leads. The most memorable aspect of this otherwise derivative scene in the three-in-one gloryholing (talk about internal flexibility), as well as all that freaky fake hand fisting. Whoever came up with that massive rubber novelty needs to be locked up in the lewd loony bin pronto. Not only does it resemble a corpse's bloodless limb, its relative realism makes it creepy, not carnal. It's hard to get your Eros on when the actresses are playing with what appears to be a bastardized body part.

Scene 3: Ariel X, Kimberly Kane, Cindy Crawford

In an attempt to keep things fresh and inventive, director Cross next offers up three lovely ladies in an animal cage lockdown. We are supposed to enjoy the not so subtle sense of domination, and relish the erotic excitement when the girls are released to "get it on". All three actresses do a good job of attempting arousal, but there is just too much posing and posturing to the porn. We want hardcore faux phallus fuck and suck. What we end up with is a miscreant model shoot with only occasional bows to babe-on-babe balling.

Second only to the first scene in terms of heat, this threesome (playing "Slumber Party" complete with portable camera) really cranks out the cunt. Like the initial offering, all of these performers loose themselves in the segment, acting on pure sexual instinct rather than carefully choreographed carnality. About the only downside to this sensational sequence is Cross's direction. As with any group scene, there are elements occurring offscreen that the camera is unable to capture. But instead of letting it be, or training another lens on the action, Cross constantly moves his viewfinder, attempting to take it all in. He never truly succeeds, and it dampens the installment's sizzle.

Another three way free-for-all, a completely different result. Even with the inclusion of Whoregasm's only strap-on situation, our three lead ladies just can't lift this scene higher up on the sensuality scoreboard. Instead of falling into the fun of the scene, Vixen and Trinity look lost, constantly staring at the camera as if desperate for some direction. Jada's Ebony essence really adds to the scene, but her playmates aren't up to the same sex challenge. In the end, what should have been exciting comes across as mechanical and mannered. And when was the last time you heard a critic refer to a fist in the ass as pure artifice?

While never bored, the Dirge was never fully engaged either. Whoregasm's collection of gals was impressive, but just can't match the level of likeable lewdness achieved in such similar, stellar titles as Where the Boys Aren't. The vast majority of the same sex scenes here are well done however, and for those who find this clit to slit material the zenith of male fantasy fodder, you'll probably be hard pressed to find better aggressive action. Easily earning a Recommended rating, Whoregasm should satisfy even the most persnickety lover of lesbianism. As for the effect such a scenario has on couples, a Cohabitation Certification is withheld. It is not denied outright, but the amount of marital aid you find here will be based solely on your partner's personal proclivity. While he never thought it would happen, Whoregasm changed this critic's concept of the all-girl title…at least, for a couple of hours.
