Extras: The best extra this time was a series of solo masturbation/tease shorts by most of the gals of the movie. While they didn't last nearly long enough (they were longer than average in some cases), it was cool seeing them have some quality time alone after watching their scenes with the guys. My second favorite extra was 54 minutes worth of Behind the Scenes footage that combined interviews, scene set ups, and some of the sex footage. The other extras included a photogallery, credits, some trailers and a double sided DVD cover (though just covers from other titles on the second side).

Audio/Video Quality: Grudgefuck 5 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Paulo Banana for DVSX to distribute. The fleshtones looked accurate, there was little grain, and the lighting was decent throughout the movie. It could've been a bit more evenly lit but it wasn't bad in most ways. The composition of the camera shots was almost always favorable to the women, playing up their strengths rather than zooming in on their flaws as so many directors seem compelled to do, and this added to the visual appeal of the movie. There were some compression artifacts at times, showing pixilation as though putting nearly four hours on the DVD caused too high a compression rate. The other problem was that the focus of the show seemed all too readily dropped in favor of a dream-like quality that I didn't like much. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English but the levels were sometimes set too low on the vocals with the microphone not picking them up too well. The music was a factor during the tease footage too but in all, the audio was fairly weak so don't expect much.

Body of Review: Paulo Banana is one of the new directors of porn, claiming to be from Brazil and offering up a love of attractive women that a number of his peers simply don't have. His first movie for DVSX has him taking over an established series with Grudgefuck 5 as his entry point. The idea of the series is to show the kind of sexual tension offered up when people fight or have personal issues with one another, using the initial tension and hopefully converting it into scenes with better sexual heat and energy. The down side of such scenes is that they can easily cross the line of acceptable behavior, and this was my primary problem with this volume of the series (though the technical matters were problematic too). Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Veronica Jett, a skinny brunette that has been highly favored by the goth crowd of late, was up first as a bitchy gal in need of an attitude adjustment. Her henpecked husband of the scenario, the massive Lee Stone, hadn't caught up on his numerous chores so when she confronted him in the breakfast room in her undies; he took her to the living room as he took charge. She sucked his dick with some energy and enthusiasm this time, looking at the camera too much as she licked his nuts. He spanked her and then licked her feet before she jerked him off in some foot fetish action, leading to some vaginal and anal action on his meaty member. She was moderately active when getting plugged in her pussy but showed almost no enthusiasm outside of some generic dirty talk when the anal took place. The scene ended when he pulled out to pop a load on her face though she clammed up like it was poison.

Scene Two: Ashley Steel (upper right hand corner of the cover), Isabella Sky (lower right hand corner of the cover, all bound up), and Lexxi Tyler (upper middle of the cover beside the other two), were up next in a lengthy bondage scene when Isabella was kidnapped for having sex with Ashley's boyfriend. The other two used dirty talk, rough sex, and a number of toys to dominate the skinny woman; spanking her ass, slapping her face, and using a strap on dildo to work her over. The scene wasn't particularly balanced since the two spent the majority of the scene doing Isabella with no reciprocation, but in that sense, it was more true to the theme of the movie than most of the past scenes from the series that I've watched.

Scene Three: Madison James, an attractive and curvy 22 year old, was up next in a scene that started with "special guest star" Brandon Iron, in what she claimed to be her 4th B/G scene in porn. In any case, she found pictures of her cheating boyfriend so she seduced Brandon while he waited for his delivery driver (played by Paulo himself) to bring some furniture to her home. Her sexy outfit worked for her but it was her oral skills and willingness to please that I liked the most. He sat back as she did all the work in what looked more like a revenge fuck than a grudge fuck as the title indicated. He licked her feet and started to play with her pussy when KD walked in on them; sending Brandon packing. The grudge fuck aspect kicked in after that with her sucking him off fairly well before he started banging her in an animalistic manner. It ended with a titty fuck to orgasm, using the standard facial as the ending point.

Scene Four: Kylee King, a small brunette with an all natural body, was up next with Kurt Lockwood on the set of a porno. She found out it was him and backed out, claiming he hurt her and left the room; walking back in when he was trash talking her to Paulo (saying she used crack and a bunch of other shit). It wasn't convincing since in real life, she would've just beat him up and stuffed a baseball bat up his ass (he'd probably like it too), but this set up the scenario for him to take her anyway, despite her saying "no" repeatedly (yeah, that'll go over well). Sexually speaking, he spanked her, they kissed, and he fingered her to the pint where she changed her mind about working with him, all of which led to an oral/straight scene after she denied him entrance into her ass. She was fairly active and the scene wasn't bad outside of the conceptual issues I had with it and the minor league pop shot to her mouth.

Scene Five: Ariana Jollee, the talented hotty on the lower left hand corner of the front DVD cover, has long been known as a talented performer in the industry so her scene with Talon was a sure fire bet to be good too. The scenario was that they had a confrontation in the parking lot and he pulled a gun on her, forcing her inside the warehouse building to strip and have sex with him. I wasn't too keen on this set up either, even though the semi-automatic clearly empty, since it's exactly the type of thing to draw negative attention to porn. She reversed the roles and made him go down on her before she blew him to use as a toy for her needs, resulting in a vaginal and anal bang where she showed just how skilled she was. It was far from her best work and another scene that I didn't like based on the conceptual issues involved.

Scene Six: Sophia, the hot looking 24 year old featured on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up last in a scene with Derrick Pierce. He was upset at the way she spent money like a drunken sailor of shore leave (primarily the phone bill) and she responded in a bitchy manner. They argued and like the other scenes, it led to them having sex (in real life, she'd have cut him off so quickly his head would spin). He denied her his cock and she took it with oral first as she sucked him off with vigor. Sophia has long been a talented gal and while I'm not a fan of this kind of scenario, at least she was the sexual aggressor this time (like the recent teacher/student sex scandal case, we all know what would happen if the roles were reversed and it were in real life). She was enthusiastic and rode him hard (and wet) before he popped his load during the titty fuck.

Summary: Grudgefuck 5 had a number of decent moments sexually and a liked the BTS feature and other extras a lot though the technical matters and conceptual problems (rape, kidnapping, and robbery coming to mind) make me feel like the only reasonable rating is a Skip It. I won't suggest that porn should be run by lawyers but even though most companies pay some attention to the infamous Cambria List (which details what kinds of sex acts are most likely to draw negative legal consequences), but Paulo went beyond what I felt comfortable with and didn't have enough to offer to make up for it in terms of the technical stuff and/or sexual heat. I've liked the series in the past but my sense of social responsibility forces some level of discomfort so if you don't care about the issues raised, by all means check it out.
