Extra's: I would have liked the masturbation/tease scenes by the ladies the best since they were advertised on the back DVD cover but none were present. I appreciated the 29 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that wasn't advertised on the cover (this is a first, huh?). There was a combination of interview footage, photogallery material, and more sex; making it quite worth checking out in my book; though I wish it spent more time with the sexual material. Audio/Video Quality: Dressed 4 Sexcess was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by veteran director Vanessa Blue for release by DVSX. I know she's made numerous movies for Mercenary Pictures that have met with critical praise but I can't say that I've seen many of them in the recent past (though some are supposedly enroute to me at this writing). This time, she had good lighting that led to minimal grain and video noise; while not as skillfully made as a few of the previous directors at the company, the movie's scenes were well within the usual parameters for a decent rating. The composition of the shots was a bit rough at times but some care was given to at least try and make the ladies look their best. There were no compression artifacts although the black levels weren't as accurate as they could have been if you're going to watch this on a high end set up. The audio was presented in a 2.0 pulse code modulated (PCM) stereo, that was okay for the vocals as well as the tease music at the front of the scenes but not particularly distinctive in any major way.

Body of Review: Vanessa Blue has long been a hotty worth paying attention too, typically directing movies under her Domina X alias and performing as Vanessa. As I recall, she has roots in the Houston area (Beaumont?) but the curvy hotty shows that everything is bigger (and better) in Texas, drawing huge crowds this past January when I asked her for a butt shot (look them up at My 2006 Photo Collection). Now that she's free of Lexington, she has worked for several companies, her latest being at DVSX in a small title called Dressed 4 Sexcess. The idea is an interracial title with all the ladies wearing lingerie to enhance their ample curvature before having sex; a noble undertaking given the appealing cast. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Ariana Jollee, an incredibly talented award winning hotty, Ariel Alexus, the curvy gal on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, and Mark Ashley, were up first. There was good chemistry, a nice mix of experience levels, and minor criticisms aside, it was a solid opening scene for the movie.

The cast wasn't as well selected for chemistry and enthusiasm as I would have liked but the extras, the fun factor and strokability combined to make Dressed 4 Sexcess at least worthy of a Rent It if not even more for fans of the ladies. Vanessa has an eye for capturing scenes but a lot of her best work relied on the cast being in synch with one another so I hope she gets to pick the cast next time.
