Extra's: My favorite extra was the audio commentary with Rob Spallone and Wit Maverick, joined by Boo and Samantha Slater. The runner up for best extra would be the deleted scene between Violet Blue and Kurt Lockwood. They did the usual fucking and sucking on a couch. There were other great extras as well though, including: 13 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage by Henri Pachard (I recognized his voice), trailers (for all the Sopornos movies and three others), four cast biographies with jump to scene feature, photogallery, Voice Activated Commercial, wall to wall sex option, double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, the industry standard for decades. It looked extremely crisp and clear during the daylight scenes but the night scenes had problems with lighting, which led to grain and video noise more often than not. The fleshtones were accurate in the well-lit scenes and I saw no compression artifacts. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English and was generally well done with a solid balance between the vocals and the music. There wasn't a lot of dynamic range or separation between the channels but it was still pretty good for porn.

Body of Review: Porn parodies have long been a staple in the industry and one of the better series has always been the Sopornos from VCA. Originally shot by director Jimmy D., the series tracked the cable television show (HBO) in a number of ways. I liked both Sopornos 2 and Sopornos 3, as they each showed a lot of humor and creativity. While I haven't seen the volumes between those and Sopornos 6: In The Beginning, I've heard a lot of good things about Wit Maverick's reign as director for the popular series. The story this time is told in flashback form, looking at the beginning of Bobby Soporno's criminal career, as a hired hand directed to watch over a mob boss' daughter (played by Violet Blue). If you enjoy fun porn with a lot to offer, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Victoria, the curvy blonde with large implants, Harry, the weirdo from Bella Loves Jenna, and Jay, had a scene outdoors in front of the house. They all did some oral, including rimming on Victoria, before boning her in a couple positions. The guys were gross and she's not my favorite performer so the scene was weak for my tastes. In their defense, she was playful with them and they did their best and she took anal with a DP like a champion. It ended with them popping on her chest.

Scene Two: Felecia and Aria, both known for their sexual talents and appetites, had a lesbian scene in a darkened garage with one another. They did the usual oral on one another, the fingering routine, and then there was some urinating (AKA: squirting) with toy use, but some fans will enjoy the PTM (pussy to mouth) action. At the end of the scene, they diddled themselves silly to get off.

Scene Three: Violet Blue, one of the hits of the 2004 AEE Show with her lean body and friendly attitude, took care of Dick on a couch in the next scene. She was aggressively oral, something a lot of guys really like, and the scene was pretty solid. They ended up doing straight for the balance of the scene and Violet seemed to enjoy the action, if not actually get off.

Scene Four: Sunset, playing a stripper (she's the blonde on the front DVD cover), had a scene with Tony on the stage. She blew him and they screwed in several positions, with the reverse cowgirl looking the best, before he jerked off onto her face. She took a few drops on her tongue and sucked it clean afterwards but this wasn't the strongest scene of the show.

Scene Five: Stevie, an attractive brunette with some nice curves, took care of Sergio in a night scene. She playfully teased his penis, sucking on the tip and working the shaft like a professional, before he banged her from behind. While I hate night scenes that aren't properly lit, there was just enough light to make it seem good from a voyeuristic point of view. They switched positions a few times before he jerked his load onto her face (and into her eye-something that grossed out the gals on the commentary track).

Scene Six: Stevie, still looking good even though it was a night scene, took on Tony for a better scene on a bed/. I really liked her long mane of hair and lean stomach although I'm not into implants. They both did oral and a whole lot of straight sex in several positions before he lost his load on her body (as she sucked his balls). One other observation, I thought her strong legs were really sweet looking.

Summary: I'm going to rate this one as Highly Recommended since I enjoyed most of the scenes, the humor was solid, the extras really good, and the sexual energy between the performers evident in most scenes. The Sopornos is one of those series that combines all the elements needed for a winner on many levels. I can only hope future volumes are just as good, since Mr. Maverick appears to do a great job when directing a feature with a bigger budget.
