Audio/Video:
The video was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen. The picture also changes from color to black & white and back again in each scene. The picture quality is pretty good, with a slight grain. However, the lighting isn't great. Each scene is either too bright or too dark. This makes it difficult to see detail. The audio was presented in 2-channel stereo and sound very good. The music is very rich and does not get annoying. However, at times it does drown out the vocals during sex.
Body of Review:
My experience with Brad Armstrong directed features has been limited to Improper Conduct, a title that I thoroughly enjoyed. The Collector is my second experience with Brad in the driver's seat. Unfortunately, I didn't think that this title really compared. The feature's plot seemed poorly developed. After four years working as a consultant for a wealthy collector named Malcolm, Jessica's relationship with him drastically changes. He becomes interested in a voyeurism watching Jessica and others have sex. Anyways, I didn't really like this film as much, but it's a decent title. There's a decent amount of action, a bit short, but done fairly well. Fans of feature films should enjoy this one. Here's the scene by scene.

| Concluding Words: I wasn't completely impressed with this title. The story behind the feature was a bit dull. The girls all looked really great and there were some enjoyable scenes. Unfortunately, the good scenes all seemed to short. Hell, even the bad ones were short. I was also disenchanted with the technical aspects. It didn't feel like the video aspects really portrayed the action as well as it should have. Overall, there's enough impressive action that should make for a decent rental.
