Extras: The extras included a 36:04 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where the cast and Jacky interacted, a “pick your pleasure” menu, a photogallery, trailers, spam, and some company information. The lengthy BTS by Jacky herself was comprised solely of cast interviews, allowing the participants to bandy about ideas related to the production or their careers.

Audio/Video Quality: The Exes and Ohhhs was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of renowned Eddie Powell on camera and editor Gabrielle Anex, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is one of the most talented female directors in porn, her work at New Sensations, garnering a great deal of praise in recent years. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Heart” series in for review is called The Exes and Ohhhs, a set of four scenes showing former couples in vignettes portraying them getting back together sexually. With ladies like Aria Alexander, Casey Calvert, Jade Nile, and Alli Rae working with guys like Tyler Nixon and Ritchie Calhoun, there was some potential for a lot of fun here, the playful trysts the kind that a lot of people will appreciate.

The back cover said this about the movie: “While helping friends plan a wedding, Jade and Michael's lingering feelings ignite a passionate conversation about what went wrong in their relationship. Desperately in love with her ex-boyfriend Ryan, Aria concocts a variety of scenarios to lure him over to her apartment. Tyler's true feelings for his ex-girlfriend Alli surface after a heated argument about her new boyfriend. Richie fights to save his relationship with is ex-girlfriend Casey when she suggests they sell the home they own together.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Alli Rae, a cute little blond with pretty eyes, was up first arguing with her ex, Tyler Night, over the panties she was going to wear on a date with another guy. The resulting set up was all too familiar and believably handled, the background music romantic and the couple soon jumping each other on the white couch. The relationship was shown to be in slow burn mode, showing the two as amicable but not currently going at it. She came in after a bad day at work to find his day was the polar opposite, their days of fighting over money done with as he pitched his feelings for her during a foot rub. All four ladies were very appealing and paired up with appropriate guys, and the technical aspects were as good as always, courtesy of the talented crew. In summary, The Exes and Ohhhs was the latest in the “Tales From The Heart” line that lacks a bit of the edge some of Jacky’s other series have but had the kind of “fun factor” playfulness that makes so many of her titles work that fans will be very happy with the result.
