Audio/Video Quality: The picture looked good, if not quite as good as
Wicked is known for. That still puts this one well ahead of the pack. The
audio had a strange quirk in that the music came out of the left speaker and
vocals out of my system's right speaker. I checked with several dozen other
discs and only this and one other had this problem. The music was sometimes
too loud.
Body of Review: Something So Right is a story about a married couple,
played by Sydnee and Randy, who engage in extra marital affairs and find out
that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. This is
firmly in the couples genre with a lot of plot twists and acting so fans of
gonzo might want to skip it or at least get a new set of batteries for your
remote control. Personally, I liked the acting for the most part and the sex
was good. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:
Scene One: Sydnee, Cherie, and Randy boned in the bathtub. This was a
good way to start the movie and the picture looked great in this scene. The
heat index was pretty high here as was the energy level.
Scene Two: Sydnee and Brad did the deed on a couch. The sex included
the usual oral and vaginal sex but also an anal that was quite warm by
itself. Yum!
Scene Three: April, fresh young cutie on the dvd cover, took care of
Randy's needs in the kitchen. The scene was erotic and warm although the
acting seemed a bit off on Randy's part for some reason. Maybe he was on
medication that week.
Scene Four: Kylie, long time love bunny of porn, and Cindy, who was
said to be in her first scene here, took care of Steve on a couch. I liked
this scene more each time I watched it even though it had nothing outlandish
going for it.
Scene Five: Kylie, still looking great, took on April in a small
bathroom. It was too short a scene for me but the two ladies looked and
performed quite well.
Scene Six: Avy, Lezley, and Brad boned on a bed. This was an okay
scene but something was missing, perhaps chemistry, that weakened it for me.
I think Brad has proven himself many times over the years both as a
performer and as a director but he wasn't at his peak here. The ladies
seemed talented enough and might've done better on their own.
Scene Seven: Sydnee, still looking good, took on Randy to reconcile
their differences in a bed. This scene was also only fair and lacked the
heat I'd expect of the two. It didn't help that the layer change was in the
middle of the scene and it caused my dvd player to come to a halt for a
second or two before resuming.
Summary: Okay, I admit to being biased in favor of Wicked Pictures;
they've made some of the best dvd's to date; Sydnee and April, two of the
hottest looking/performing gals in the business; and Jonathan, one of the
leading director's making adult movies. It seemed like this dvd needed a bit
more spit and polish to refine it a bit but it's tough to complain loudly
when the biggest problems were fairly minor compared to so many other
companies. Fans of good sex scenes and attractive women having fun will be
more than happy here as will couples looking for a bit of soap opera porn. I
recommend this one to fans of the performers as a purchase and others as at
least a rental.
