Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame and looked stunningly clear. I'd go so far to say that this was the clearest Vivid releases I've ever seen with no artifacts and only a touch of grain. If their other releases were this good, a lot of people would start taking them more seriously. The audio was a bit of a mixed bag though with a few scenes too loud and/or distorted music interfering with the vocal track.

Body of Review: Vivid has a wide range of releases with something for almost everyone (except for those who hate condoms and/or beautiful women). In their latest release, Liquid Sex, the company hired the strange but talented Michael Raven to give them something different. The show has a number of sex scenes that all revolve around water-be it a shower, a pool, a pond, or whatever. In a surprisingly strong set of scenes, Vivid did the cast right this time. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Dasha, all dressed up and looking hot, had sex with Jason by a small pond. Oral and straight only but pretty warm with some chemistry.

Scene Two: April, in a rainy alley, and Joey, had their own scene this time. She looked quite ready as she teased him a bit and the two had a fun time before she took a facial. Warm!

Scene Three: Tanya, an attractive if overly implanted blonde, had a strip act on a stage before getting warmed up to do Jezebelle in a bathtub. Oral and fingers only and it was good for a lesbian scene.

Scene Four: Cassidey, a brunette with sultry eyes, and the massive Lee had a scene by a pool outdoors. The two seemed to enjoy themselves as well with some chemistry going on to compliment the warmth. Well done!

Scene Five: This was a solo scene for Luna who, after masturbating with a vibrator (and after her strip tease dance), was sprayed with some white fluid. This was shown in the behind the scenes footage and looked kind of weird. I'd have preferred a longer scene, even if she didn't want to do a guy. Filler!

Scene Six: Miko and Joey had a scene in simulated snow bank. The scene included oral and straight but also had anal action as well. She did appear energetic as always, even with him boning her butt. Well done.

Scene Seven: Dasha and Dillion went at it in a shower. Raven's photography tricks weakened what looked to be a solid scene full of chemistry and the sound stunk too. More anal for those who like it. While the two have supposedly left porn (I wish them well if this is so), this real life couple are often as good together as any other couple aside from Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo.

Summary: I really liked this one. No, I'm not a fan of implants and I know condoms are typically frowned on by lots of viewers but I can't deny that the sex itself, along with the attractive women, and high end technical values, mixed to really work for me. In two distinctly separate viewings, I found myself pleasantly surprised on several levels so I'm rating this as Highly Recommended. Good work (and I've had my share of complaints about Raven's past works too).
