The Feature:
Personally, I don't care for the plot in an adult film. If I want topnotch acting and character development, I'll find something else. With that in mind, I have the pleasure of reviewing the latest offering from Wicked Pictures called "Best Friends." Starring April and Randy Spears as best friends that live separate lives and somehow end up together, "Best Friends" is full of sex scenes (Who would have thought?). Anyways, here is the Kleenex Scale…

The "Kleenex Scale" is done on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being a strong scene, and 1 being a limp one. The main feature consists of 5 scenes with a total running time of around 90 minutes. Here are the scene breakdowns:

Scene #1 – Three girls
It's amazing how an innocent neck rub can end up in full blown lesbianism, but hey, I'm okay with that. Lots of nice action here, as things start off with oral, and then a strap on is brought into the equation. Some good cowgirl action, and then a dildo is used on one of the girls. Good scene.

Scene #2 – Randy Spears and ARIA
They just got married and are looking to consummate their vows. BJ for him, and oral for her. She climbs him and rides him cowgirl style. He goes for the big "A", and then she gets a facial… Jeez, what a honeymoon.

The full-frame 1.33:1 presentation looks really good. Almost no artifacting/pixelation present in the picture. Flesh tones look as good as expected. Overall, I'm satisfied with the transfer.

Audio:
A Dolby 5.1 and 2.0 soundtrack presents all the cheesy music, moans, and thrusts that your sound system can handle. But honestly, are you really buying this DVD for the audio? Well, according to Wicked's tenacious pimping of Dolby Digital Surround Sound in the menus, you may very well be buying it for the terrific audio.

Menus:
Interactive menu allows you the choices of: "Play Movie", "Chapters", "Photo Gallery", and "Special Features."

Extras:
There's a bunch of stuff to list here. "All Access: The Making of Best Friends", "Interviews", "Bloopers", "BTS Photo Galleries", "Audio Bios", "Star Galleries" "Promotional Materials", "Wicked Web", "Wicked Casino", "Wicked Awards", ""Trailers", and more are included.

Final Thoughts:
Despite only having 5 scenes, "Best Friends" is a good DVD. The scenes are very good, and April puts in a good performance. Add to that very good video/audio, and some decent extras, and you have a really good DVD. "Recommended" all the way.
