Extras: My favorite extra by far was the 5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It gave some extra nudity, tease, and the joking around you'd expect from a laid back porn set. I also liked the short individual interviews of the ladies, each getting a limited amount of time to discuss whatever struck their fancy. The rest of the extras were pretty standard with some trailers, a cumshot recap, a photogallery, some spam, and a true double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Young & Natural was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Barrett Blade for release by Mayhem. I was again surprised that he didn't participate in the scenes but there was less shaky camera work this time and the editing seemed better too. The composition of the shots enhanced the look of the gals a bit more than I expected though it wasn't as solid as it could be. Otherwise, the lighting was decent almost all the time, limiting the grain, video noise, and shadows of the scenes so Barrett has shown some improvement recently. The audio was presented in a basic stereo 2.0 Dolby Digital but the vocals were too low much of the time, the music generic and intrusive, and the little bumps you'll hear in the background evidence that unless it's a rock & roll related audio matter, he needs to work on it.

Body of Review: Barrett Blade has long been an enigma in porn, having joined the industry initially to be with his then girlfriend Devon at Digital Playground after leaving a moderately successful career in music. Over time, he has taken a more active role in the production side of things, expanding his repertoire substantially and now trying his hand more frequently at directing. His latest release is Mayhem's Young & Natural, a series of vignettes where women of various ages pretended to be young, each possessing an all natural body. The box cover put it like this: "Five Young and Natural teen fuck queens are ready and willing to get their tight young holes pounded and jack-hammered into oblivion by our well hung studs. It's another cum soaked sextravaganza only from Mayhem, naturally." That said, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Taryn Thomas, a very cute brunette with a lean, all natural body, was up first as she stripped off her small blue bikini and blue jean skirt to masturbate on the couch. The anal was more of the same, I'm sure it felt good to him but you wouldn't know it by the way she acted, resulting in a standard pop to the face at the end of the scene.

Scene Five: Sativa Rose, a cute Latina with a fine curvy body and some sweet DSLs, was up last in a scenario where she claimed to be 18 and looking for her cat. The pop shots were decent and it was a solid way to end a decent flick.

Summary: Young & Natural might not be the best director Barrett Blade has to offer but it was certainly a decent enough stroke flick with solid enough replay value to earn a rating of Recommended from me. The entire cast of ladies were good looking enough and the majority of them were good performers with reasonably good production values to enhance their acts. The amount of fuck for the buck seemed worth checking out. In short, Young & Natural might have been a bit older than expected but it was a natural to add to my collection given the manner in which so many of the ladies were able to showcase their stuff so well.
