Extras: The best extra this time was easily the 19.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. Most of the female cast was given some time to speak on camera and show off their physical assets to one degree or another. I would have preferred more time spent with Katja Kassin but I've long been a fan so consider my bias with regard to this desire. There was also a short, 2.5 minute long session of bonus footage with Ariana Jollee but it seemed almost pointless to put this one separate from the rest of the BTS footage given the relative lack of exciting action behind it. There was also a photogallery, some trailers, and a true double sided DVD cover for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: Camel Toe Perversions #3 was presented in the original 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Martin Del Toro for Smash Pictures. The lighting was excellent in most ways and that kept the grain & video noise from bugging my tender little eyes. The composition of the shots was almost always favorable to the ladies and helped enhance their already good looks though there was a bit more movement with the camera during some of the close ups than I generally prefer. The DVD mastering was solid as well and I have to admit that Smash Pictures has come a long way in the last few years since I actively used to check out their movies. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo with crisp vocals and none of the lame music getting in the way once the sex scenes started. There was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was okay but like most modern porn, the audio was definitely playing second fiddle to the visuals.

Body of Review: Martin Del Toro has lately found himself in a pretty nice spot with varying companies showing interest in his work as a director. Regardless of where he ends up in the future, he has been doing some decent work for Smash Pictures according to sources I spoke to recently. His latest work is a little vignette driven release called Camel Toe Perversions #3, a show that focused on those lovely folds of skin a lady has when her clothes ride up her pussy crack. If you've read my reviews of Best of Camel Toe Perversions, Camel Toe Perversions 1, Camel Toe Perversions 2, Mr. Camel Toe 1, and Mr. Camel Toe 2; you'll know that I love the concept of the camel toe but hate the manner in which far too many directors waste the opportunity to showcase lovely ladies in scenes that use this cute little form of tease. Martin's goal was to show them how to do it right, a goal I could readily support if he could pull it off. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that none of the men used condoms at all:

Scene One: Ariana Jollee, a very lean and experienced brunette in porn, was first up and seen on the front DVD cover in her neon pink shorts and black belt. She teased by the pool as she walked back and forth, soon finding herself in a living room on the couch with hairy Steve French. The window behind her caused some minor lighting issues at times but fans of the lady will be able to overlook this fact as she seemed to appreciate Steve's attention more than a little bit as he played and sucked on her sweet little pussy. I'll admit that this was not his best work but Martin did try to provide a nice selection of varied shots of the couple enjoying themselves. I sensed some chemistry between them but most of the strength of the scene related to her sexual skill. She gave a great blowjob, complete with spit, hand action, eye contact, and deepthroating techniques that messed up the camera lens. I liked that she employed a lot of dirty talk but it took her far too long to start riding him actively on the futon compared to some of her other works in the past. He came on her pussy to finish it up and while she tasted it, the scene fell flat for me compared to some of her other works.

Scene Two: Annie Cruz, an Asian gal wearing black PVC shorts and a red top, followed the formula of teasing by the pool on the overcast day before letting Tony T. play with her crack. She looked like she gained a few pounds (flabby pounds too, not the lean muscular pounds that would've enhanced her figure) but he didn't seem to care much as he spanked her and put her through the motions as she submissively gave in to his will. I liked that she was active during the scene and while she's not my type of gal (her looks simply don't work for me), I can respect that she has built a large following for doing scenes like this one. Scene Three: Sara Jay, a chunky gal with huge implants and a body built for comfort more than speed, was up next as she teased by the pool outside in a pink and blue outfit. Her partner was Sascha and he immediately went to eating her out as he played with her camel toe. She obviously enjoyed the way he treated her body so well, and while her own oral skills were less developed than I'd have liked them to be, she provided some interesting visuals on the oral action herself. She was only slightly active when riding his shaft, preferring to let him do most of the work in the various positions they vaginally screwed in. Her over the top vocals got a bit irritating after awhile too but she seemed to appreciate the semen hitting her face at the end so I had mixed feelings about the scene (she has potential that I feel is largely untapped, regardless of her stated limitations).

Scene Four: Katja Kassin, my personal favorite lady in the cast, wore a light pink two piece outfit as she proudly followed the established formula. She's been working on eating better and exercising thanks to a number of people telling her she's too fat for porn and to be completely fair; she had some extra junk in her trunk in need of toning up. Still, as far as talented performers go, she was easily the top pick of the cast and provided me some hope that she could elevate the level of heat enough to boost up the rating for me. Talon was her partner and as one of the most skilled males of the cast, I figured the scene had a better than even chance once he started going down on her while she lay back on the tiger print couch. Her oral skills seemed in fine form here, better (though shorter) than in many other works in fact. This led to her taking him vaginally; bouncing up and down on him like a passionate pumper once finding herself on top of him. The scene ended after he dropped a load onto her face but skipping the anal with Katja is like listening to a rock album through a set of ear plugs. That limited the heat of the scene for me but the simple lack of anal wasn't the sole factor for this.

Scene Five: Christie Lee, another cutie that I've enjoyed watching more than a few times in the past, wore a brightly colored print two piece as she walked along the edge of the pool. This was the weakest bit of camel toe action for me and only Justin Magnum saved the scene's tease footage from falling completely flat. She passively let him do as he pleased and I found her body well worth checking out though the action seemed to take place mechanically. The oral was fine in most cases, even the taste testing, but the actual vaginal screwing seemed to show her acting lazy and requiring he do all the work. He's not large enough to cause a gal to act like this and the scene was not what I had hoped for in any sense of the word. It ended when he jerked out his load to her pussy lips, ending a mediocre title.

Summary: Camel Toe Perversions #3 was one of those releases that could've been great but ended up as a Rent It at best. When even Katka and Ariana have scenes that are lacking, you know that there's a problem somewhere else. I don't think it was necessarily Martin's fault but something went on that limited the cast and the tease footage was simply not up to par in all cases. If you really want to see everything the cast is in and appreciate the concept of the camel toe, you could do a lot worse (well, maybe not a "lot" worse) but check it out and I think you'll see that the chemistry and heat between the performers wasn't what one would expect of them given their previous works.
