Extras: The best extra for most fans will be the bonus scene between the lovely Mysti May and the perennial Sascha. It lasted about 16.5 minutes long and showed she had a lot of energy as she sucked and fucked her way back into my lustful heart. It was especially nice to see that it was shot for this movie, at least that was how it appeared given the fact that there was extensive, and hilarious, footage from the scene in the Behind the Scenes feature (where everyone was cracking up over the silliest of comments). The Behind the Scenes feature lasted about 18.5 minutes and had some interviews, cast members and crew goofing off, and some silliness worth checking out repeatedly if you want to see how a porn set really is. There was also a cumshot loop, a photogallery, and a number of trailers like Who's Your Daddy?, Big Rack Attack, Drive Thru, Virgin Surgeon, Gaper Maker, and Fine Ass Babes.

Audio/Video Quality: Fishnets 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as shot by Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance. The lighting was very good, limiting the grain and video noise while providing accurate fleshtones on the cast. The picture wasn't always perfect but the composition of the shots was as solid as I remember Mike providing in the past, always enhancing the look of the ladies in their scenes substantially. There were no compression artifacts observed and the overall visual quality was pretty good, as expected. The audio registered on my receiver as 2.0 Dolby Digital but the vocals varied a fair amount in terms of loudness and the music ended after the scenes truly began. I didn't notice anything that would give your home theatres a work out but the audio properties did not detract from the experience. Fans of Spanish can listen to the secondary audio track in that language too; I found it to be an okay dub though only spot checked it.

Body of Review: Mike Quasar has long been one of those guys that I can argue with but still like enough to bail out of jail when he needs me to do so. He's got a sharp wit, a keen eye, and has probably won more awards for others than anyone in the porn industry today (they take credit for the movies that he makes). While a standup kind of guy in many ways, I have long had the impression that he enjoyed his job so much that his lovely wife kept a particularly close eye on him (she's a cutie!), though he's the last guy I'd suspect of cheating on his spouse in the porn industry. His latest DVD for Zero Tolerance is Fishnets 4, a set of vignettes that show the ladies getting dressed in hot lingerie (and fishnets of course) before some tease and heated sex. The back cover put it like this: "Reel in the raunch! The quick version of the movie is that I really liked it but you'll have to read my breakdown of the scenes by cast and action to know why so here's a look:

Scene One: Lisa Ann, an appealing brunette with a beautiful face and nice curves, was up first as she put on her fishnet stockings and thong in front of the window, eyeing the camera as though it were a partner of hers. Her itty bitty bikini enhanced her look and while the droning musical piece that played wasn't bad, it didn't help much as she carried on the established formula of the series. Summary: Fishnets 4 is one of the best titles I've seen credited to Mike Quasar in awhile, showing off his exceptional talents with a camera and editing bay, as well as the skills of a fine cast of lovely ladies. There was a lot of fuck for the buck, the technical values were top notch all the way and the enthusiasm of the ladies was undeniable. As such, I'm rating it as Highly Recommended for any of you that want to skip the frills of features, the artistic visions of the poseurs, and the circus act sex of the gonzo crowd in favor of some great tease footage and straightforward fucking. If any of Mike's other recent releases have been this good, I was the unlucky slob that missed out but he really came through this time. As a side note, the DVD came wrapped in a neon yellow-green fishnet wrapper, making it stand out in the crowd but the contents of the case were the best reason to check this winner out. Good job!
