Extra's: The extra's consisted of a few biographies, a photo gallery, and a series of trailers (19 minutes worth). That's not a lot of material for a "Premium Title" but this was an early release in Adam & Eve's premium series.

Audio/Video Quality: The audio was usually fair except that the sound mix was a bit uneven in the stereo presentation. In a few scenes, you'll hear one performer much more clearly than the other(s). The video is border line very good in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color (as originally shot). The scenes were lit appropriately to the mood of the scene and it shows that attention was paid to this aspect of the production but there was some grain in a couple of scenes, especially the darker ones. I had a technical glitch with this DVD though. The movie went back to the main menu after chapter one due to faulty mastering (note: I have no idea if A&E went back and remastered this DVD but it seems unlikely that they'd do so now).

Body of Review: The story focused on a young writer played by Temptress. She explored her fantasies through her writing and the net result was a fairly decent plot device to get several scenes into the movie. The scenes included straight, lesbian, oral, and fingering, a fairly tame bit of action for most porn fans. There were 6 scenes all together and a number of them were pretty good for a couple's movie. Here's a quick look at those scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: The first scene is with Temptress and her characters boyfriend, played by Devin. It was darkly lit, realistic and a very good couples scene back when this was originally released. The couple did the usual oral and straight sex but she gave it a modicum more then average in terms of energy and this made it fun to watch.

Scene Two: The second scene has Cheyenne as a waitress who started the scene by masturbating and then Joel joined her. The scene was pretty hot and almost as well paced as the first scene although it had its share of limitations too. The sex was no more extreme than the first scene but still managed to showcase Bud's directing talent as much as the performing skills of the cast.

Scene Three: The third scene had Temptress and Jon participating in a scene where they showed an urgent need to screw. It was not as long as a few other scenes but it had a lot of heat for this type of scene. I thought the oral was more energetic than the screwing but each had something worth checking out.

Scene Four: The fourth scene was with Cheyenne and Monique. It was shot in a sort of Voyeur style with Dale watching as a photographer. He never joined in and this scene was particularly hot. Both women were into the action and it showed. While it was mostly licking and rubbing, I can't deny that watching attractive gals go at one another has long been something I enjoy watching.

Scene Five: The fifth scene was with Anna dressed in fetish wear. She made Ian submit to her and got so excited that you could see goose bumps on her legs. Anna was always excited and this is one of her better scenes although the S&M nature of the scene wasn't played to the hilt nearly enough for a fan like myself.

Scene Six: The last scene was between Anna, Temptress and Jon. I liked it but after the previous two scenes, it was a bit tame. It was somewhere between the 1st and 3rd scenes in terms of pure heat generated but those who enjoy watching tame porn will be able to appreciate it a lot more than I can these days.

Summary: The movie itself was very good for all its limitations and had some hot sex scenes. Aside from the sound mix problems, this was much better than many of the past Adam & Eve releases I had seen when this was first hitting the market (years ago). It's one of their Premium line which I had hoped would be the start of many great things (unfortunately, the company started cutting corners too often back then and it was rare that a release come out untouched by that fact). The performers all had a good time and it showed (for all the problems). The acting in the voice over scenes by Temptress sounded a bit wooden but that's not a major problem either. Perhaps the writer, Raven Touchstone, could have coached Temptress a bit to sound more natural (it sounded like a first or second cold reading). No matter though; the merits of this DVD far outweighed the problems. The cast was varied enough to give fans a taste of different women without relying too heavily on the cookie cutter gals porn usually focuses on so you may well enjoy this a lot. I'm going to rate this as a Rent It for most fans although some of you will like it even more.

This Don Houston "retro-review" was written long ago before the so-called Professor of Porn had much experience writing reviews. Since that time, he has found Adam & Eve to have a lot of good releases and seen more porn that almost anyone reviewing on the internet. Keep in mind that his comments accurately reflected his fresh viewpoint of the time he first saw the movie.
