Extra's: For me, the best extra was the director's audio commentary with Bud Lee. I wish he had one of the performers with him to counterbalance his focus on the wonders of the cast (he never seems to say anything bad about anyone) but he did provide a bit of insight into the feature. The biggest problem this time was that it sounded like he swallowed the microphone. There were also trailers, photogallery, credits, cumshot gallery, company profile with trailers and award winners, short biographies, and spam to round it out with. To sum it up, this was a good selection of extras that added some real value to the DVD. Note: there was no behind the scenes here even though the back cover credits listed Al Dorado as shooting one.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The movie was shot on video and looks fairly crisp and clear with none of the pretentious attempts to look like film. The fleshtones were pretty accurate and the camera work decent enough. There was some minor grain at times but nothing significant and a bit more fill lighting might've helped in that regard. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English (not the advertised 5.1 surround) but it sounded good with a fairly solid mix between the vocals and the music.

Body of Review: I'm a fan of feature porn, be it a comedy from Wicked Pictures, a fantasy tale from Simon Wolf, or a simple dramatic tale from one of the other companies that seem to do a decent job making them. Bud Lee is no stranger to feature porn himself, having directed scores of this genre over the last twenty years for a bunch of companies. Lately, he's been working for Sin City Entertainment and doing a good job for them too from the looks of the movies I've seen (as much as I'd like to see all of their work, I take what I can get). In his latest release, The Fan, Bud shows the story of a porn starlet who has a stalker. Here's what the box cover said about it:

"Anna Belle is the hot new starlet who is sitting on top of the world. A beautiful young actress with many admirers and few close friends, she is the object of desire to men and women alike, though her private life remains closely guarded. But now there is someone in the dark. A secret admirer is whispering sweet nothings in her ear. Suddenly she is being showered with cards, flowers, gifts, and those late night phone calls that are driving her mad... with sexual desire. She finds all this a big turn on... though she'd never admit it, she gets off on the twisted, sleazy and perverse. Who can this mystery be? Watch for the clues, and maybe you will uncover the unknown, the deeply twisted clandestine life of THE FAN."

If this sounds as interesting to you as it did to me, read the following break down of the scenes by cast and sexual activity:

Scene One: Anna, a very cute young gal in the adult movie business, took on Steven as part of a scene on a porn shoot. Art, as they say, imitating life, she seemed to enjoy working his think member with her hand and mouth while he laid back and enjoyed it. He gave her some oral attention to lube her pussy up and then they went at it. The camera seemed to love this gal from all angles, be it the missionary, the doggy or just spooning and it ended with a large pop shot to her stomach.

Scene Two: Rocket, a dark haired gal with a lean body and Elexis, a gal with a curvier body and reddish hair, had a lesbian scene together on a couch. The sex was primarily oral with Elexis receiving most of it, and some fingering but no toys. Rocket also did some hair pulling and it amounted to a pretty decent scene, even if Rocket wasn't my type.

Scene Three: Teoni, a tiny blonde in her first scene (she looked a lot like Carmen Luvana too), started off her scene by attacking Chris' penis as though she was on a mission from God. It wasn't enough that she was aggressively jerking him off but she was so focused on slobbering him that he popped off on her face before getting any intercourse! Luckily, John was just outside and he took care of her just fine when Chris shamefully walked away a defeated man. He licked her a bit on her ass and crotch and her moans told me all I needed to know regarding how much she enjoyed it. He then started tapping her really deep and they switched positions a few times before he blew his load. Whew!

Scene Four: Anna, still looking sweet, took on John on the couch. He went down on her and then she gave a great demonstration of how to blow a guy, using her tongue, hands and breasts after which he popped off. That was it for this scene but it wasn't bad.

Scene Five: Michelle, a cutie I've been seeing more of lately, and Steve, had a scene on a desk at night. He burrowed into her crotch like it had buried treasure (which would be true I suppose) and opened her up to taste her more fully. She, on the other hand, would not be out done and gave him an energetic blowjob before he started boning her from behind. Her moaning was hot and he nearly lost it more than once (or is that me projecting again?). They did a few positions before he popped a small load on her lower abdomen in this pretty warm scene.

Summary: If there had been as much sex as some of the other recent DVD's from Sin City and/or as many extras as those titles had, I'd have rated this even higher but it was well worth the Recommended that I'm giving it. The women were attractive and good at sex, the technical values well done, and the story entertaining as well. Mr. Lee seems to have found his niche and only the most jaded critics out there can deny his talent when given a fighting chance to please folks.
