Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The scenes were from quite a long time ago, and before Wicked used big budgets and good directors, so you should know that there was a large variety in the quality of the picture (relating to source material). The scenes often had too much grain and video noise with weak lighting and other problems. The audio was presented with a choice of a Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2.0 stereo track (both in English). The audio varied a bit too but again, this is as good as you'll see these scenes.

Body of Review: Jenna Jameson is the most recognized superstar porn queen of all time. She's been in the business for nearly 10 years, has been in a host of mainstream projects, and has a look most men (and many women) want to know better. Is it any wonder then that Wicked Pictures, currently the top of the line adult movie producer (for feature porn), made a killing by signing this gorgeous gal to an exclusive contract so many years ago? I only wish she was still with them, making regular appearances in movies, because these days, she's so busy with everything going on that we rarely get to see her working in front of the camera. In any case, Jenna's popularity is the reason why Wicked Pictures broke their longstanding rule about not making compilations by releasing, Jenna Jameson's Wicked Anthology 1: 1995. Wicked has never rested on it's laurels, preferring to move forward instead of dwelling on their past so you have to know that this release is a breakthrough, hopefully a good one, for fans of the company's work. After all, would you rather shell out $30 per dvd on a bunch of them that only have a scene or two, or instead get a compilation that costs the same as a single dvd, jam packed with scenes of Jenna?

Okay, so if you're a fan of Jenna and haven't bought the releases comprising this dvd (unlike the box cover, my review will list all of the scenes in plain view with what movie they came from), you'll be in for a treat. While the technical limitations of the source material are readily apparent, each scene has Jenna in it! Further, while I think she looks hot in just about everything she has made over the years, including such hits as My Plaything: Jenna Jameson 2 and Jenna Loves Kobe, most porn watchers like seeing the earliest scenes a gal was in. While this set of scenes doesn't have her very first works (be it for Adam & Eve or New Machine), they were all from the beginning of her career when she hadn't quite become so commercialized. Many of the scenes were award winning too which, makes them all the more desirable. So, fans of Jenna's hot body and face can rejoice that these were put together with some care, and not tossed together like so many other companies have done. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and picture:

Scene One: Priceless: Jenna, at her cutest, took on the well-endowed Peter in this scene. It was set in an ally at night and while I would've preferred better lighting, there was a lot to like with the couple displaying some chemistry and heat. Like all her scenes, it was oral and straight only but well worth checking out.

Scene Two: VR-69: Jenna, wearing some great fetish vinyl and metal outfit, joined her then roommate, Nikki, for a scene on a bed. The two had been in a longstanding relationship of sorts when this was made and they looked good together but the lighting and angles weren't optimal.

Scene Three: Cover To Cover: Jenna, dressed like a Southern Belle, and her then-husband Brad, had a very energetic scene in an open field during the day. It ended with a pop shot to the mouth and had lots of chemistry. An interesting tidbit here by the lovely VP of Sales for Wicked, Joy King, was that the scene was filmed on two separate days since Jenna hadn't been feeling good that day. From my perspective, watching it more than once, I think it looked great.

Scene Four: The Wicked One: Jenna, Tiffany, and Jon had a scene of sorts here. Essentially, the original scene had Jenna dreaming she was someone else and the sex had originally bounced between her and Tiffany doing Jon. Jon was a bit rough here and while I didn't really like the scene (originally or now), some fans seem to enjoy it. The scene here was edited to exclude Tiffany from all but the pop shot and I hate edited scenes (even though all of Jenna's footage was left intact).

Scene Five: The Kiss: Jenna, Anna, and Taboo had a scene where Jenna submitted to them and their strap-on dildo's while Mike ordered them about. The scene was shorter than I prefer but still hot.

Scene Six: Blue Movie: Jenna, in a movie that I liked a lot when I first saw it, and TT, had a scene in Zen's film (not video) about the making of a porno. The two were in a bamboo shack and had a lot of energy together so it's easy to see why Jenna, at the awards ceremony when she won a "best couples" award, suggested she was still sore for the sex. Heck, TT splooged two and a half times here; it was that good.

Bonus Scene: F-Zone: Jenna, and Nici, both very attractive here, had sex on a bed. Most of it was just licking, rubbing and a dildo plunging in and out but I found it very enjoyable.

Summary: These were not Jenna's best scenes for Wicked but they were her earliest. Director Morgan suggests that future volumes will include those later scenes so fans will be happy to note that the value of a Jenna Compilation will be coming soon for some of her best work. As Wicked grew, and became dominant in the feature market, it had the resources to make better scenes and many of those were with Jenna. I think the value of the compilation to any Jenna Jameson fan is clear and have rated this dvd as Highly Recommended. If you are one of the few detractors of the gal, you'll likely rather watch something else but there was some decent fuck for the buck going on here. I just wish Wicked had made the dvd a two-year project (and included more scenes and/or extras).
