The Movie:

Compilation DVDs are always a mixed bag.  There are always some
scenes that are good, but it seems they constantly throw in some mediocre
ones too.  I have to admit, I kind of  like compilations.  
There are usually more sex scenes than a regular movie, and you get to
see a wider variety of actors in action.  A  nice way to sample
several movies at one time.

Vivid has been putting out a nice series of compilation discs spotlighting
their contract players, and this one, The Ultimate Madelyn Knight
is a solid entry.  Sultry Madelyn is very good looking and strives
to give a good performance in her movies.  Though most of the movies
these scenes came from are getting a little old (they were all released
in 1995 and 1996) the sex is still hot.  This disc contains 10 scenes,
all staring the tall brunette, lasting a total of 2 hours.

Scene One:  From Sweet Revenge with Steven St. Croix. 
The DVD starts out with a pretty straight sex scene.  Madelyn blindfolds
Steven and blows him followed by some good sex.  Not the hottest scene
on the disc, it had a 'do-it-by-the-numbers' feel to it, but still not
bad.

Scene Two:  From Bad Girls 9 with Dyanna Lauren and Mike
Hunt.  Two girls take on a farm hand.  Mike is not that hung,
but the girls slurp his cock down like it's manna from heaven.  They
work on each other while he's plowing their fields too.  A good scene,
it ratchets the heat on the disc up a notch or two.

Scene Three:  From Return Engagement with Julia Ann and
Misty Rain.  This is one hot scene!  The  three girl go
for a dip in the pool, but find something more enticing to get into. 
All three women did a great job, really getting into it.  Julia Ann
is a knockout and is wonderful to look at.  One of the best scenes
on the disc.

Scene Four:  From Captive with Kelly Jean, Ruby, Dave Hardman,
and Brian Surewood.  Taking place in a basement with leather masks
on the walls, this is supposedly a light bondage scene, though no one is
tied up or restrained.   A nice orgy scene, everyone fucks everyone
else.  There's a lot of girl-girl action, and the guys are serviced
too, of course.  Kelly Jean and Ruby give a great dual BJ to one of
the guys.  Ruby gets the award for stealing this scene.  She
has really nice tits, and did an excellent job.  She turned red and
was screaming like she was really cumming.  If she didn't, she deserves
an acting award.  Ironically enough, Madelyn was not at her best in
this scene.  She doesn't moan at all and doesn't really even seem
to be enjoying herself.  The other girls make up for it though. 
Overall, a very hot scene.

Scene Five:   From The Scope with Marc Wallace. 
Remember how I was saying that every compilation disc had some dud scenes? 
Well, we've arrived at that point in this disc.  This scene is just
bad in so many ways.  It's a standard suck and fuck outdoors scene,
which is fine, but it has badly dubbed moans over the whole thing. 
Neither actor looks very excited, and the fake audio really ruins the mood. 
The video quality is horrible on this section too.  It's very grainy,
so much so that I'm surprised they included it at all.  Hit the 'chapter
skip' button on your remote when you get to this scene.

Scene Six:  From Comix with Janine.  The two women
put on a show for several people dressed in fine evening clothes. 
They sit down on a couch, and start making out, much to the surprise of
the onlookers.  This scene starts builds at a nice slow pace. 
They start kissing, and rubbing each others pussy, and end up humping pussy-to-pussy. 
Madelyn does an excellent job of fingering Janine while eating her. 
A good scene.

Scene Seven:  From Head to Head with Meridian, Lovette, 
& Ian Daniels.  This scene is fairly grainy too, but not nearly
as bad as the scene from The Scope.  There is some odd camera
work in this too, which distracts slightly from the scene.  The when
the sex starts the first shots are taken from high above, as if from a
crane, and it's hard to see what's happening.  The scene is edited
in a manner that I didn't care for.  They cut too quickly in some
parts, but that's not a major critique.  The scene starts with a drunken
Madelyn being brought into a room by Ian Daniels and Lovette.  While
Ian watches, the two women start going at it. Eventually Lovette goes over
and starts sucking on Ian while Madelyn and Meridan, who is hiding under
some stairs, play with themselves and eventually pleasure each other. 
Near the end of the scene, Lovette takes Ian's dick up her ass, the only
anal scene in the feature, and he cums on her face.  Lovette was really
good in this scene, getting into it especially during the anal part. 
She's good looking and built like a brick shit house.  A good scene
slightly marred by the camera work.

Scene Eight:  From Mouthing Off with Marc Wallace. 
Another standard suck and fuck scene.  I'm surprised they included
a second scene of Madelyn and Marc getting it on.  Not that the first
was anything to write home about, (Dear Mom,  Wow, Madelyn Knight
really knows how to suck cock!) but Madelyn has had a long enough career
that I'm sure they could have found footage of her fucking someone else. 
This, again, is a fairly standard scene.  They start kissing and end
up fucking.  He ends up cumming on her ass.  As with his other
scene, neither actor looks like they are really getting into it. 
Average.

Scene Nine:  From Torrid Tales with Raquel Darrian and Nikki
Tyler.  With Nikki Tyler in it, you know this scene is going to be
above average, and it is.  Nikki, a busty blond, does a great job
in this lesbian scene, bumping and grinding like the champ she is. 
It starts with Nikki and Madelyn outside eating strawberries.  Madelyn
says that she likes her berries sweetened and rubs one on Nikki's pussy
then eats it.  Nikki does the same and before you can say "Rug Munch"
Madelyn has a dildo up Nikki's snatch and is lapping pussy like there's
no tomorrow.  Just then, Nikki's girl friend, Raquel Darrian, walks

Scene Ten:  From Interview with a Milkman with Steve Drake. 
The last scene on the disc is a little of a let down after that last great
lesbo fuck-fest.  It's not bad, just not nearly as hot as the previous
chapter.  Madelyn and Steve are in an office making out.  She
strips for him, and the rest I'm sure you can guess.  Madelyn does
a good strip tease, and Steve seems to appreciate her efforts.  A
scene worthy of being on the disc.

The DVD:

The quality of the scenes on this disc is pretty inconsistent. 
Since they were taken from different movies, they don't all look and sound
the same.  Overall, the quality is just fine, with a couple of exceptions
noted in the review of the disc.

The Extras:

Behind the Scenes:  18 minute
short.  Basically sex scenes from Set Fever where you get to see a
minute or two before and after the scene is shot.  You can hear the
director telling the talent what he wants them to do, etc.  It was
okay, but not really noteworthy.

Bonus Scenes:  Three good scenes
that are a great bonus.  The three come from Bad Wives, Set Fever
and The Show 2.  Good stuff.

Final Thoughts:

If you are not familiar with Ms. Knight's work, this is an excellent
disc to check out her talent.  Many of the scenes are hot, and while
there are a couple of duds, the others more than make up for those.  
Though the A/V quality of a couple of scenes is below par, that shouldn't
dissuade you from checking it out.  Recommended.
