The movie:

The scenes on this disk have a common (and fortunately, effective) formula.  Each one, at least part of the time, employs a stylized video effect I can only call pseudo-animation. There's likely a better name. Its effect -- for me at least -- is that it appears to have been shot at something like a mere 10 frames per second, causing the motion to look just slightly jerky. It's used only enough to be stylish, not annoying. 

Each scene is bereft of dialogue and has relatively little music -- a good thing in both cases. Replacing dialogue, the scenes use intertitles just as the old silent movies did. Every so often, words such as "finger me" or "cum on me" appear amid the action. It's an enjoyable artistic device, and even adds to the erotic value by removing the otherwise distracting and inane dialogue so common to the genre. Even when porn dialogue isn't silly, it's frequently unnecessary for the goal of getting a viewer off, or just doesn't help to do so. I applaud this method of getting around that.

What little music there is, is almost always pleasant, rarely distracting, and is some combination of what I would call New Age and (unsynchronous) soft rock.

Another commonality: from time to time the video will momentarily appear in sepia or black and white (a degree of color blindness prevents me from being certain which), further providing an old-fashioned look and feel. Though I liked it right away for its creativity, I wasn't sure it added anything erotically as opposed to being done because they could... a little like the overused "shooting into mirrors" effect some directors seem to think is so clever. But in retrospect it also seems to add some eroticism as well as being artistic, perhaps because one doesn't expect to be sexually excited by watching an antiquated movie.  It's a little like finding a porn stash in your grandfather's attic. Whether this was producer/director Viv Thomas' thinking or a lucky accident is hard to say. At another level, all these things work because they're different, and I admire his vision.

Besides the artistic elements common to each scene, the disk is full of natural tits (yay!), somewhat methodical but still enjoyable sex... and there's not a condom in sight. One other thing: the male performers are never seen in their entirety. It may be a hand, a cock, a pair of arms, a thrusting torso... but never the face or full body that I can recall. Male viewers may be fine with that, though some female viewers probably will not.

The reason for this -- which is obvious to me now but wasn't at first -- is also the reason for the title, a twist on "Point of View."  It's the viewer's (specifically male viewer's) point of view we're seeing in most of the shots.  Thus, the girl is giving you head, or fucking you. It may seem gimmicky, but it looks good (there's no awful fisheye effect, for example) and it doesn't get tiring. To the editor's credit, there's a nice variety of shots in each of the five scenes. They're well lit, too, and sound good. I can't overstate how much I enjoyed the lack of obnoxious music and talk.

The sex is often methodical, but still very enjoyable to watch -- and be a virtual part of. Each of the girls is tight, natural, cute and fuckable.
