Extra's: The best extra was the 17.5 minute long extra scene that came from Anal Sinsations, starring Felix Vicious, Michelle Sweet, and Kimberly Kane. They were in bed and had a heated little romp together; I just wish it had been made for this movie so I could give it more credit. There were also trailers to several movies such as The Adventures of Squirt Girl and The 20 Year Old Virgin, a photogallery, and a cardboard protective slipcase.

Audio/Video Quality: My Space was presented in an anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 ratio widescreen color as shot by director Wesley Emerson for Sinsation Pictures to be distributed by Wicked Pictures. The lighting was usually very flat and strong; reducing the amount of grain, video noise, and other issues like shadows that would have otherwise marred the look of the show. The camera spent a lot of time really close up on the ladies though, a hit or miss tactic that some like more than others, especially in the case of gals with implants or blemishes since it made both more prominent. The fleshtones were accurate though and I did not see a lot of pattern noise, moiré, or edge enhancement used to bolster the visual elements, making it a pretty fair looking movie. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, with the vignettes of gals doing themselves never bothered with plot or dialogue; almost as if the camera were largely a fly on the wall watching them. The audio was presented in the standard compression rate of 192 Kbps (the video varied a lot, typically in the mid level 6 Mbps area) and the vocals, what limited vocals were present, were dominant over the generic score.

Body of Review: Wesley Emerson has been in porn for a long time, currently directing for Sinsation Pictures with the titles distributed by industry powerhouse Wicked Pictures. I've seen some of his work from Video Team, JKP, and VCA to name a few and while little of it really stands out as special, he seems able to competently shot under a wide variety of circumstances; resulting in heat if the performers are into the moment. His latest release is the solo masturbation title My Space where he displayed 20 scenes of gals diddling themselves. There were no cocks, a variety of circumstances, and a general formula applied that will serve fans of the ladies well enough. Okay, rather than bore you with 20 descriptions of gals masturbating in largely the same manner, I'll try and give an overview that gives you some feel for what took place and how it did so. The ladies in order were: Jenna Presley, Kimberly Kane, Kaiya Lynn, Eva Angelina, Felix Vicious, Angela Stone, Nyomi Marcella, Jenaveve Jolie, Julie Knight, Nikki Hunter, Mika Tan, Jasmine Byrne, Michelle Sweet, Katja Kassin, Mia Smiles, Melissa Lauren, Avy Lee Roth, Avena Lee, Luci Diamond, and Shy Love. Some of them used toys and all of them used their fingers, the most common toys being vibrators, dildos, and anal plugs (though Felix's nipple clamps stood out in my mind since she was so into the pleasure and pain aspects of the act).

The settings varied slightly with a lot of the ladies enjoying themselves on the staircase or by the pool, others on couches or chairs, with the time of day varying more than a little bit as though the scenes were shot in addition to longer, more complete scenes for other releases or perhaps simply edited from such scenes to make this more of a compilation. I watched as closely as I could to see if this was the latest little bit where a company tried to double dip the consumer. Based on my preliminary observations, the ladies appeared to finish themselves off in most cases without many abrupt edits at the end so I was appreciative that this appeared to be all new footage (even if Wesley took advantage of the situation by shooting the scenes concurrently with other scenes in order to give the ladies a bit of extra cash and make this project doable).

I've seen a handful of solo scene-only titles in recent years and there was no attempt to pretty this one up with special effects, MTV editing or lighting, and my biggest issue of the day was that there were too many really tight close up shots in the scenes for my tastes. Given the length of the movie (over two hours) and the diversity of the cast, there were definitely stand out performances to enjoy as well; the flip side to that statement being that some of the gals were either going through the motions or simply unaccustomed to masturbating as the whole scene, their performances suffering as a result. Some, like Katja Kassin, Nikki Hunter, and Jasmine Byrne (to name but a few) were very skilled in the acts while others had a lot of polishing up needed to make their scenes acceptable. In all then, your mileage will greatly vary and the light jazzy type music that played on in the background was such that it never got in the way but never made much sense to be in the movie either.

Summary: My Space by director Wesley Emerson for Sinsation Pictures to be distributed by Wicked Pictures was a specialized niche offering that some of you will enjoy more than others. The lack of parolee stunt cocks will impress some as a bold move and others as a cheap way to shoot scenes but as much as I enjoy watching a number of the gals here, the resulting levels of fuck for the buck were low enough that I saw My Space as more of a Rent It than anything else. I like watching ladies jerk themselves off as much as the next guy but unless you view this as strictly an appetizer offering, it will leave you wanting a lot more so adjust your personal rating accordingly; noting that about half the scenes were good enough to get me interested (and I wished those lasted twice as long rather than the movie providing twice as many).
