Audio/Video: The Audio and video on a lot of the advertisements with this DVD were very old and need to be updated in the worst way. They are in direct contrast to the rest of the DVD. The rest of the DVD was very reasonable, crisp colors and clean audio.

Extras:
As with most Vivid releases, the disc opened up with tons of spam for the various Vivid products on the market. Vivid erectile pills, Sex lines, Vivid video, Vivid sex toys, web site etc. were all well represented. There is a scene jumper and positions room that allows the user direct access to their favorite positions or porn stars. The DVD extra's also include a behind the scenes video, a photo gallery dedicated to Mercedez and another one for the rest of the movie. There was also a Mercedez bio and preview from some additional Vivid DVDs. The true value (and most of the DVD's value) are in the five sex scenes pulled from previous Vivid movies. Three of these scenes starred Mercedez. The bonus materials are the perfect place to put these clips from other movies and offer tons of user value.

Body of Review:
Freeze Frame focuses on the life of a porn photographer and how he'll finally get his shot in the action. This is obviously a vehicle to further the career of relative newcomer Mercedez in traditional Vivid style. There are four scenes on this release featuring a lesbian scene, foursome, and one on one sex.

Scene 1: Mercedez

Mercedez is our leading lady and starts off the first scene as well. After some nice tease footage of Mercedez posing for photos, we get to see her unveil her perfect fake tits for Evan Stone to play with. Mercedez is an absolute knockout with a nice solid figure to go with a stunning face and dark hair. Evan puts her through the paces with a condom covered pork session on the couch, concluded by a pop shot on those gorgeous breasts. Both actors looked to enjoy themselves and you can see a couple instances where they smile at one another like a couple of love struck teenagers. The scene lacked much heat however.

Scene 2: Kimberly Kane

Kimberly Kane is a cute blonde with small breasts and a vivacious sexual appetite. She also might be the leading candidate for vagina-plasty. She knocks some boots on the couch and looks great in any shot not featuring her snatch. She's a beautiful woman, but her unsightly beaver takes away from the scene.

Scene 3: Kelli Tyler & Angela Stone

Scene three is a foursome. The main participants are a brunette with small tits and a body to die for and perky blonde with small tits, but a hard toned body. This is a solid scene with, but the trouble with all foursomes has to do with continuation of the action. Just when you feel like you get into one scene, the camera switches to the other group. I just didn't feel anything from this rubber coated romp. It was rather bizarre seeing the hot Jamie Huxley (starring in the next scene) walk around and have a normal conversation about her job while a foursome was going on in the background. Although, I have zero experience, this is how I'd envision an actual porn shoot.

Scene 4: Mercedez & Jamie Huxley

Mercedez is back for the finale, and she's hooked up with the incredibly hot Jamie Huxley (playing the role of the photographer's assistant). Jamie has a very skinny edible frame and natural body. She's got a face and an on screen presence that makes one want to buy every DVD she's ever been in. The two go through a nice toe curling belly rubbin' session complete with a few toys. This is by far the best scene on the entire DVD.

Summary:
Despite a couple of hot scenes, I could only give this a Rent It, mostly due to the fact that there are only four scenes. Mercedez & Jamie Huxley stole the show when they were included. I would not pay full price for this DVD, but the sale currently going on at adultdvdempire.com, makes this a tempting purchase.
