Extra's: The best extra was easily the 11+ minute long Behind the Scenes feature where Christoph spoke with the ladies, starting with Eva on the couch (who got the lion's share of the feature). There was some sex here but it wasn't the best BTS feature I've watched of late. There was also a cumshot recap, a photogallery, a cast list, and some trailers as well as some filmographies.

Audio/Video Quality: Beautiful Girls 21 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Christoph Clark for distribution by Evil Angel. The lighting was good this time and the resulting lack of grain and video noise was appreciated by this reviewer (I fuss about technical matters more than most, certainly more than the shills do). The composition of the shots tended to be favorable to the women as they have in most of his recent outings behind the camera, making it more fun to review than some of the hack work I've watched lately. There were some parts of scenes that weren't as good but the overall quality of the visuals was good with no compression artifacts. The stereo 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo had little, if any, separation between the channels and the dynamic range wasn't bad but this being gonzo, I really wasn't expecting a whole lot either. I could hear the vocals well enough and while it wasn't great, it sounded pretty good too.

Body of Review: Christoph Clark has been a fixture at Evil Angel for some time now and is generally relied upon to provide some casting diversity to their wonderful line of titles. He seems to be able to get some of the newest, hottest, and most skilled gals from places most people haven't heard of so his place in the Evil Angel porn pantheon is secure as far as I'm concerned. While not quite as diverse as some of Joey Silvera's "gals" (if you catch my drift), Christoph's ability to find top notch talent has long impressed me. That his skill at directing them is often very competent is icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned. His latest release is Beautiful Girls 21, a set of unrelated vignettes that star attractive women. The series premise is to offer up the best looking gals who he can find to do hardcore although he's fallen short in some of the past volumes. This time, he headlines it with Lauren Phoenix and Eva Angelina so I got the impression he looked at domestically available gals too (he typically uses only foreign gals or at least emphasizes them quite a bit); making it a nice change of pace. Here's a brief breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in the scenes:

Scene One: Eva Angelina, one of the hottest brunettes in porn in recent years, was up first as she listened to Christoph praise her many fine attributes (blushing along the way). She was wearing a skimpy bikini-styled bit of lingerie and Mr. Pete acted nonchalant about her as he claimed she was merely "okay" when they last had sex in a scene. She took that as a challenge and got him hard before masturbating just out of his reach, which worked well enough for me to appreciate (and seemed to draw him in too). He then moved over to her side of the couch to get one of her outstanding blowjobs which, of course, led to her riding his pole vaginally. The first thing I noticed was her fine ass all lubed up (she has a very nice ass folks, of course I looked at it) so I was sure she'd be taking him anally as well but she gave quite a show riding him in her pussy too (as he spanked her, she seemed to get even more turned on). Scene Two: Cory Everson, the curvy brunette, and bleach blond Sariah Jones, were up next in a scene where they teased the camera in fetish attire on a set before being joined by Steve Holmes, Greg Centauro, and Nick Lang for some action. Cory was easily the better looking gal of the two but both gals shared a trashy look here that I wasn't expecting of Cory (she can look incredible if given the right make up and clothing). The gals did some lesbian licking and rubbing to warm up for the real stuff that came later, each enjoying the loving attention of each other as they masturbated too. They sucked cock energetically and I couldn't fault them for looking somewhat skanky at times given the nature of the scene but the pair seemed to end up in a veritable contest where each tried to outdo the other as the men poked away at their privates. The sex included vaginal and anal with some powerful DP material too but I'd have traded them in for Eva in a minute given the mechanical manner in which they performed for much of the scene. There was taste testing and toys used with the gals keeping on most of their clothes throughout the scene. Scene Three: Terri Summers, the gal in the middle of the front DVD cover with black hair and a fishnet top, was up next in a scene with Joel Lawrence. I haven't seen as much of her as late (I think she was in a contract with a company unable or unwilling to properly promote her) but I knew she was the sexual lead of the movie for a reason. She even had some bush this time as she got right down to business with studly Mark Wood and Mr. Pete; with the guys working her over very well. Granted, they were nothing she couldn't easily handle but her calm demeanor and abilities had the men eating out of her hand (so to speak) as she took turns getting hammered by them in her pussy, and later, her ass. There was some foot fetish material as well as DP here but fans will just as likely appreciate how readily she did the taste testing from either hole. It wasn't her best work but it was a return to the quality performance levels I've seen from her in the past, a good sign to say the least. Scene Five: Angela Stone, the skinny bleach blond on the right hand side of the front DVD cover in fishnet stockings, red PVC shorts, and a black bikini top, was up last as she paraded down the staircase as though she owned the place. Mr. Pete met her at the living room bar and the two went right at it by kissing and feeling each other up as though they wanted to make this happen. They sucked and fucked there and then took the show outside by the pool; doing anal as easily as most people breathe air. The scene seemed short compared to some of the others but my main concern was how she really didn't seem to measure up in the looks department. I liked the all natural aspect of her body and thought she had wonderful potential but the fact was that she didn't strike me as anything outside of a second stringer brought in late here. At least she too swallowed the semen down easily.

Summary: Beautiful Girls 21 seemed a step backward from some of the most recent volumes in the series where Christoph offered up double disc sets and lots of extras but the biggest issue I had (the show ran under 2 hours!) was the nature of some of the cast. They weren't his best selections in recent years and the good might've outweighed the bad but only to the extent that I felt comfortable rating this one as a Rent It. Let's face it, a guy gets spoiled seeing Volume 20 containing 219 minutes (and better extras), Volume 19 with nearly 168 minutes (and similar extras), and Volume 18 with 173 minutes (and similar extras) and then having to settle for this type of affair. Still, the biggest limitation wasn't the length but the relative lack of quality in some of the gals. While I appreciate his taking chances, which means every volume won't be as good (and this was one such title).
