Audio/Video Quality: Denim Dreams was presented in an anamorphic widescreen color offering with a 1.78:1 aspect ratio as shot by director P. Nisse for Intense Industries. The lighting varied with each scene, sometimes too bright and other times too low as to cause saturation problems but typically limiting the grain and video noise most of the time. The camera shook a lot and proved the cameraman was not the best of choices as I've seen deep sea fishing expeditions with less movement in a storm than this one offered up. The composition of the shots was okay though with some attention paid to making the ladies look good and rarely zooming in on their blemishes from what I could see. The bitrate hovered around the 6 Mbps range and I saw no compression artifacts while watching the movie. The audio was presented with a number of language choices but given how little was spoken by the cast, this really did not seem to matter a lot. The bitrate was 192 Kbps, the current industry standard, in a 2.0 Dolby Digital offering, showing the separation was good in the beginning (the music mostly) and the limited vocals never coming across as an issue.

Body of Review: P. Nisse is a director for Intense Industries, a foreign producer of porn that I had not seen before today when I picked up a screener sitting in a great big pile. Some research showed they recently moved into a new warehouse and their product has an outward appearance of rival company Zero Tolerance (the slip cover, typeset, and way the cover is designed) but the scenes were anything but. The title in question was Denim Dreams, a series of vignettes where the cameraman did not talk to the performers and they had little to say as the followed a largely generic formula. The ladies were lovely though and my only fault with them was how most of them lacked any passion or spark needed to set the movie apart from the hordes of similar titles on the shelves at our local porn shops. That said, here is a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Kyra Banks, a fetching blond with pretty eyes and a lean figure, was up first as the pounding beat of the music droned on. She really didn't say anything and was soon slobbing the knob of Titus Steel until he wanted a titty fuck. Summary: Denim Dreams by director P. Nisse for Intense Industries showed Kate, Lucy, and Jeny to have some nice moves worth watching a time or two but the other gals relied too heavily on looks alone. This might work for them when they are on the street making a living but in porn it only serves to make for boring sex so I rated the DVD as a Rent It. The extras were almost nonexistent and I sure hope Intense can field something a bit more appealing than this one given the wealth of hotties the company has access too these days. In short, Denim Dreams was not overly dreamy and the nod to denim apparel was limited so rent this one before fussing at my ratings to see what I mean when I say that I hope the marketing hype I've heard about Intense is accurate and I just picked up a slight dud.
