Chapter 1 – Angel Cassidy, Jean Val Jean:

Angel stands alone in a room until Jean enters the picture, his narrative urging her on as the foreplay starts. This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident in some of the darker colors and the blacks but other than that, there's not a lot to complain about. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything is coming up roses as far as the look of the film is concerned.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The soundtrack is mixed in properly at a respectable level so as not to overshadow the speaking parts when they do occur. Bass response is nice and lively and overall, for a porno movie, this is a better than average effort.

Extras:

In addition to a still gallery featuring shots of the girls in action, Ninn Worx has also supplied a behind the scenes featurette. The behind the scenes segment is a candid look at how the performers interact behind the camera and in a more casual environment. We even witness Angel herself cooking lunch as well as some other 'every day' events that you don't really gamble on seeing porn stars doing. There's some interview footage thrown in here as well as some photo shoot clips that keep things interesting as well as some hardcore footage of the performers in action. The whole thing, when it's all said and done, runs about nineteen minutes from start to finish.

Final Thoughts:

Hot women engaging in hot sex always makes for a good time in pornoland and Ninn does a great job of keeping the action hot and heavy while lending a reasonably artistic slant to the proceedings. Rapture – Angel Cassidy looks decent and sounds pretty good, and the behind the scenes featurette was a nice touch. Recommended.
