Audio/Video Quality: 1 Girl 1 Camera #3 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as attributed to director Ivan for Pornstar Empire. The scenes were shot “on the side” during various full sex scene shoots for titles coming from Tom Byron Pictures and Anabolic, specifically designed for the “1 Girl 1 Camera” website of Ivan’s that focuses on female masturbation. Ivan would hand the gal’s a camera and little tripod so they could shoot their own scenes while he worked on the movies he was working on, then cleaning them up as needed for the website, now this series of discs. The lighting was not typically warehouse lighting in these scenes but all the action was easy to make out, usually on beds, and there was no company watermark on the screen as with other companies. The aural components came straight from the camera too, no post production trickery enhancing them or music getting in the way of the often strokable footage.

Body of Review: Ivan is one of the most creative directors in porn, the man recently moving to Las Vegas to re-establish his Pornstar Empire as a force to be reckoned with. His latest movie making it my way is called 1 Girl 1 Camera #3, a dozen scenes of female masturbation taken from the website of the same name. The premise was for Ivan to hand a small video camera to women he was working with for shoots coming out of Anabolic and Tom Byron, slipping the ladies some extra money during their free time to warm up on camera. Some used their hands, others used dildos or vibrators, and more than half of them appeared to get off regardless of any minor camera issues; the scenes generally lasting around 15 minutes or so each. So while some will call this production a compilation, the scenes were not released on disc before and for those like me that prefer a hardcopy that isn’t going to deteriorate like a burnt disc might, this selection of such scenes from around 2009 at three of them are tied to that year, others likely as well) were fresh as the ladies doing them so early in their respective careers. Summary: 1 Girl 1 Camera #3 by director Ivan for Pornstar Empire was fun to watch and while repetitive at times, the ladies were basically rubbing and using toys to get off, so I rated it as I do many web to DVD endeavors with the express belief that joining the company website would allow you a whole lot more action for the same price, a solid Rent It. There’s a reason why so many big names in the industry hired Ivan to shoot their works and not always give him credit, his award winning eye for detail appreciated by many of the ladies that he assisted over the years as he made them look their very best. If you enjoy watching curvy young ladies new to porn rubbing one out in a realistic manner, 1 Girl 1 Camera #3 is probably just what you’re looking for whether you check out the scenes on Ivan’s website or on this disc so give it a look.
