Extras: The best extra was easily the bonus scene between Veronica Bella and Jake Crew. While he was kind of a mope (reference: Mope Squad), she was a fine example of Italian hotty with an all natural body. There was also a photogallery, a positions room, and trailers to shows like My Hot Wife is Fucking Blackzilla, My Daughter's Fucking Blackzilla, and Stretched Out Snatch, as well as a double true sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Bubble Butt Bonanza 1 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Destro Damus for Hush Hush Entertainment to be distributed by Digital Sin. The picture looked fairly clear if basic with accurate fleshtones, mediocre lighting, and only a bit of grain from time to time. The composition of the shots wasn't always favorable to the women in the scenes but it looked okay for a beginning director's efforts. I'm sure he'll get better as the series progresses but it was run of the mill as a gonzo flick (perhaps a bit above average in some ways). The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English audio track was as basic as could be with limited (if any) separation between the channels and a dynamic range more suitable for a generic porno made with a low budget but all the vocals could be heard and there weren't a bunch of outside noises interfering as with numerous other flicks.

Body of Review: These days, putting any reference to ass in a porn title is akin to advertising anal sex. This is largely due to the way that the industry seems to think anal is very important, with a large number of fans clamoring to see the latest anal exploit of some young hotty. Well, I'm not one of those who thinks anal is necessary for a good scene and that's a good thing considering how I was watching Bubble Butt Bonanza 1 with an open mind. Anal sex was not a factor here but the asses were all worth a gander given the tease and playful attitude focused on the backsides of some fine young ladies, particularly new comer Naomi. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in the scenes:

Scene One: Naomi, the well endowed gal on the front DVD cover wearing the blue g-string, was up first in a scene with scrawny James Deen. The setting, which was the same for most of the scenes, was the generic couch in living room and to be fair to the production; Naomi doesn't need anything special given her wonderful ass (for some personally shot pictures of it, check out my 2006 Photo Essay). There was a lot of tease footage, with the rump shaking and oiling part of my favorite acts of the movie. Naomi is a gal who gets better as time goes by, aging like a fine wine in her scenes, so I enjoyed this one as much as any of her other scenes. She was orally in tune with him, giving one of the best hummers I've seen her give to date as she slobbed his knob like she wanted to suck his balls through his cock. It was just a bonus that her ass was presented so finely during much of the scene (though the technical qualities varied too much for me). She's great during a vaginal screw and James even thumbed her ass though I was happy watching the basics she handled so well. It ended when he popped out a load to her face, coating her handily as I don't recall him doing elsewhere in any of his scenes of late, ending the finest scene of the movie for me. Whew!

Scene Two: Sophia Dee, a bleach blonde British gal with pretty eyes and only a few missing teeth, was up next in a bedroom scene where she showed her assets to full effect in the low rent apartment. She had some junk in her trunk and was not as firm as Naomi but Andrew Andretti seemed to like oiling her up and playing with her bountiful booty. I liked that they made her wear orange fishnets though her frog belly white skin didn't provide much contrast to show them off to full effect. She also provided some nice booty shake to the scene as she sucked her way into his heart. While the blowjob was decent, her active vaginal ride was even better, enhanced with her dirty talk as she did some POV action. I got the impression that she was going to do anal (I'm a fan of ass, not anal) but she didn't and that was okay given her skillful performance. It ended when he "nutted on" her mouth.

Scene Three: Haley Jayde, a gal with some brunette hair and some bleached hair, was up next in the standard room. She had pretty eyes and a leaner than average body but seemed to have the kind of attitude you'd expect from a talented stripper at an exotic dance club. She seemed a little shy at first but Donny Long worked her over with some nice compliments to put her at ease. The tease was a little more forced this time but the guys helped her learn on the job with the oiling up, shaking, and bending over routine. When it came to the oral, I could tell that she'd sucked a few dicks in her time but nothing like the other gals of the movie, adding a freshness factor to the proceeding more than weaken it as it would've done with some gals. She wasn't all that active in the vaginal riding either, making me think it would take something special to get her to live up to her potential. It ended with a facial but seemed to be a filler scene, even if I thought she was a cutie.

Scene Four: Kim, a lean, skinny Latina in a slinky green dress, was another one with some nice curves to her body; especially her ass. She knew how to pump it around and the extra weight on it was nice though she was another one built more for speed than comfort. Her partner was Andrew Andretti and I got a good feel for the scene when she said it would "cost extra" for him to touch her ass. Still, as cold as she started out, she had a look I wanted to know better, especially after she put on the neon pink fishnet body stocking. Her oral was more like the kind of hummer you'd get from a girlfriend willing to do it after a nice dinner than a seasoned professional but her strength wasn't the oral so much as the aggressive vaginal she provided. In short, whatever the position, she could bounce on cock like it was her favorite hobby, a fact not lost on Andrew or the director. It ended with the facial and her calling herself a nasty ass whore, resulting in a better than average scene.

Scene Five: Zoe Matthews, another gal with weird hair, was up last on top of the roof with Donny Long. She might not have been the prettiest gal of the cast but her friendly demeanor and fleshy ass served her well during the scene. I liked that she oiled herself up and her bubbly personality added something to the nature of the movie (dedicated to bubble butts). The blanket on the roof wasn't the most comfortable place for the action but the lighting was great and she knew her way around a meat pipe. She seemed to want to build up to the fun rather than jump right in, allowing for a different kind of pacing then most of the other scenes. It wasn't until the final moments of the ride that she tried to impale herself on his rod but while it wasn't a great scene, it was fun to watch with some fair replay value.

Bonus Scene: Veronica Bella, a young and very attractive brunette with a feisty attitude, took on old man Jake Crew on a couch. The scene included oral, vaginal, and anal with a major facial at the end of the scene but what a lot of you will like about this admittedly fair scene was how she didn't seem to be willing to put up with any crap (he choked her a little but early on, she smacked his hand away until she was ready for it). It was nice as a bonus scene however and she was very physically appealing so I hope to see more of her in the future.

Summary: Bubble Butt Bonanza 1 was not the best showcase for round ass I've seen in the past year but it was certainly well worth some repeated viewings thanks in large part to an interesting cast, featuring Naomi. Director Destro Damus reminded me a lot of Zulu Royalle in both his strengths and weaknesses, a beneficial association considering the quality of their work. That said, I think the best rating for this one would be a Recommended though with some polishing up and a few more talented ladies, the next higher rating shouldn't be out of reach for him. If you enjoy ass tease as much as I do, give this one a look to see if you "get it" but it was a solid entry from the halls of Hush Hush Entertainment that didn't have to rely solely on the interracial aspect of porn.
